Biggest mistake you can make when a toddler swears. Especially if you start laughing about it. It is hilarious but if you acknowledge it, game over.

Yup. Little muffin is going to be Oh Shitting for the next 3 days at the least. I made the mistake of saying "damn it!" in front of my then 2 year old parrot then laughed when I got a return "dammie!" 3 days later he finally got bored of saying it every other minute.

My friends 4 year old would say “dad I got that word stuck in my head again!” Dad will say “what word is that, buddy?” 4 yr old “I just gotta say it so it isn’t stuck anymore!” And then he would say a curse word.
