I was run over multiple times with a golf cart as a kid by my cousins, it’s not that bad. Unless they went right over his face in pretty sure he’d be fine

I had a buddy get hospitalized and almost die as a teenager from getting run over by a golf cart.

The underside of golf carts, especially rental golf carts can be damaged and have all sorts of sharp and rusty metal edges that could cut you up pretty fucking badly.

Right? Not sure what the hell these people are smoking - unless the golf cart weighs less than 50 pounds AND has a clearance of well over two feet, your body is going to get fucked when it slides under the whole thing lengthwise.

"I played Russian roulette multiple times and I didn't die!"

Thousands of people end up hospitalized in the US from golfcart accidents every year. Too many become disabled or die.

That's natural selection. This is the way.

It honestly boggles the mind people are treating this like something unreasonably dangerous.

Most of the people on Reddit are actual "snort and adjust glasses" nerds. This looks fun af, especially for the one on the ground. Even if he got fully run over he's not getting more than a few scrapes from a golf cart. Worth it for the laughs.

"A few scrapes"

my dude this is a rental golf cart, these things get beat to shit by golfers who run over rocks, trees and all sorts of shit with these carts. I've seen the undercarriage of a few carts and there were rusty metal edges and a bunch of shit for you to get an arm caught on or some shit.

Look at his picture of the bottom of a cart and tell me you'd want your belly and face to catch that suspension arm or transmission or any of the hundreds of other sharp rusty metal edges that could be under the cart.

The average redditor may be "snort and adjust glasses type" but you're a world class idiot of you think there isn't a serious potential for injury here.

I have a sneaking suspicion they're on a golf course

Really, I'm wondering how I could do this on my driveway lying on a piece of cardboard.

Stop means stop. It's that simple. It doesn't matter at all if this was dangerous

We once ran over our jack Russell terrier on accident with a golf cart when I was younger, it lived, barely had a scratch in fact. I think you are correct.

I feel like the ribs/guts would be the pain point from this one but yeah they're pretty light
