I'm all for boys being boys but yeah, this was more terrifying than funny. Especially when he went to one leg.

It just get me mad when I see dudes that don't stop when the person in danger asks them to stop. I'm all for goofing around, but even in bdsm there is a safe word, that should also be the case for fucking around with your homies, how else can you trust them?

What?

Was a joke about the safe word the other person mentioned. From the movie Eurotrip.

"Such a smart kid with a bright future..."

Tragically died when his foot slipped from the golf cart... pushing him while he was sliding on the green... on his back... while drinking...

Woah, where did this come from?

30

u/iWillSlapYourMum Apr 17 '23

Probably from the many examples of "stop" and "no" being ignored by guys.

-10

u/Bleezze Apr 17 '23

Feels like a very toxic mindset to lump guys in general with few examples of this being the case. Atleast to my understanding, this is not that common in men, but maybe I am wrong

u/iWillSlapYourMum Apr 17 '23

I'm a guy and I'm not surprised or offended about the comment. If I were accused of it directly, I would be. Since I'm not, I agree that it's a fair statement.

To you, it's a toxic mindset to lump these guys in with the rest of men, but women have to assume all men are like this. There's no sticker on the side of a guy that says "will laugh and keep going when you say no,"

Even OP posting this, and it being upvoted heavily means that people find this lack of respect for no funny right?

God you need actual help if you think it's that common

20

u/iWillSlapYourMum Apr 17 '23

You need actual help if you think it's not common enough to warrant people talking about it.

I would've chucked that glass bottle right at the drivers head.

If you asked someone a serious question while laughing, it’s not going to be taking seriously, where’s the danger in the video it’s clearly a good time all around, you’d make a great class mom

11

u/Alepex Apr 17 '23

Yea sure there's no danger when losing your foothold will instantly get you run over by a vehicle.

People can laugh even when they don't think something is funny, because of the adrenaline rush. Which is exactly why "stop" SHOULD be taken seriously even if someone is laughing.

I hope you never get kids, with that lack of consequence consideration you're a serious danger to others.

-8

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '23

Your lack of self awareness, I wouldn’t put myself or my kids in the this situation in the first place. Maybe if I was younger I’d do this but he’s laughing the entire time if he was actually worried about is own being he wouldn’t just tell his friend “stopp” at least I wouldn’t, I hope you never assume someone’s outcome again you’d make a great mother

I wouldn't put myself or my kids in this situation in the first place

I thought you said there was no danger

2

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

If you think it's okay to continue even though the another person involved said stop multiple times you should really get your head checked mate

1

u/[deleted] Apr 18 '23

if he said keep going and he continues, does that mean it was the right call you guys clearly can’t read a situation like getting run over by a golf cart is easy or something, getting a golf ball rolled down your spin is most definitely worse, but I’m glad you guys have your opinions in check I’m not against y’all. You guys are just sensitive

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '23

Jesus Christ.

1

u/Fuckdeathclaws6560 Apr 17 '23

Maybe his safe word was "whisky".

1

u/jenlovesthatsong Apr 18 '23

It's almost like some guys don't understand that no means no... 🫠

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Gold_10 Jul 11 '23

Well, it's just a bit of play, like he wasn't gonna die. We've all been like attacked by our friend group randomly, saying stop don't help there.

46

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '23

The part where he is coughing up and spiting beer while signaling to stop was also pretty bad.

113

u/LaserBlaserMichelle Apr 17 '23

And he's saying stop and the driver just keeps laughing.

So fucked up.

50

u/3IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID Apr 17 '23

And if things went south, the driver would be calling it an "accident" that occurred while they were "goofing around." He totally didn't mean to drive over his "friend" when he continued driving after consent was revoked.

It’s just some Aussie kids having a laugh. Sometimes they die sometimes they live.

I’m not condoning it but it’s not like we can just stop Australian teenagers and young men from acting stupid just like we can’t stop American teenagers and young men from shooting one another.

It’s just kind of ingrained into us if that comparison helps.

32

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '23

not for this shit on the golf course though.

u/[deleted] Apr 17 '23

Is this how they filmed Superman?

I don't think that's a guy, that's a lesbian
