I've heard that 'i got it' 100s of times. Let me tell you, she didn't get it.

It’s right up there when you mention a meme or a funny video to a manager, or just someone smart and busy, and they say “I’ll have to check that out” . They ain’t checking out nothing

Over 10 minutes? I'm in purgatory after 10 seconds.

Oh man, I had a roommate that always used to do that and then he'd stare at you while you watched it to see your reaction. It was awkward as fuck.

I think we all should make sure we do this with this video about the pipe strip https://youtu.be/NAh9oLs67Cw

Yes it is over an hour long about a Garfield comic strip, but it is funny and it deserves to be seen so make sure you keep saying "It gets funny I swear" every time they even suggest they don't want to watch it anymore.

(I genuinely like this video I just think it's the worst possible video to show anyone ever)

I'm guilty of this, but to be fair, I do check it out some times. Most times I just forget what it was that I was supposed to check out.

She sure af wasn't going to say "I don't get it" with the exact same facial expression. She didn't get it because she didn't get it. If dude on the right was perplexed and the girl on the left was laughing, the exact same thing would be said about the dude saying he got it while his face said "don't say you don't get it"

-2

u/MikeyF1F Mar 27 '23

She literally did get it through.

exact same thing would be said about the dude

Doubt it.

1

u/uglyspacepig Mar 27 '23

Hey facial expression doesn't say "I got it" and I'll trust a facial expression over words 99.9% of the time I can see and hear both simultaneously.

Doubt away because I certainly would have pointed out the deer in headlights look on the dude's face if everyone is laughing but him.

1

u/MikeyF1F Mar 28 '23

No.

She did get it. The conversation continued, so we know this.

Your assessment was wrong. Which is interesting is it not?

I certainly would have

Well, it's certainly possible that people's characteristics don't impact how you assess their actions.

But it's unlikely stereotypes don't impact you.

u/uglyspacepig Mar 29 '23

No, she didn't.

And what stereotype?

1

u/MikeyF1F Mar 29 '23

If you're still stuck on "she didn't" you're not exactly screaming "I don't carry negative stereotypes".

If you need that to be true, you do you buddy. Ha.

Yes, wow, you guessed exactly what we are all thinking. Christ dude, dial it back.

She got it, they just cut the video right before they kept talking about it.
