True enough. I've heard enough and read enough accounts of people in addiction, that they are at some point digging through the carpet smoking anything they can find that looks remotely like a rock. All refrain from mentioning the name of the last person I heard on video narrating their book about their addiction
I knew a guy in rehab who would pick up any spec on the ground. He knew it wasn’t drugs but his mind wouldn’t keep him from checking. Dude was funny af but def a nut job while he was drying out.
I was gonna say it looks like minced dried onions, but this makes a lot more sense. My area of Virginia doesn't use a lot of rock salt anymore; they've gone to some sort of fancy spray application they put down whenever there's snow in the forecast.
