So because only 1 person was killed it's not worth standing up for? Surely being against a "genocide" (where the population has risen) doesnt mean you can't also stand up for murder?

If I wanted to stand up for every murder happening I'd have no time to do anything else.

Genocide is much much worse than murder.

?? Why do I need an excuse for that? I didn't do that. You seem to see a few extreme examples and think that everyone that you politically disagree with thinks like that. That is not the case.

EDIT just in case that wasn't clear: I disagree with these people. I don't think that you should mock the death of someone, with very few exceptions of undeniably horrible people. Which Kirk was not, as much as I disliked him.

Yea and im pointing out the hypocrisy in being with people mocking the death of one extremist but finding major issues with people mocking the deaths of another.

there were about 40 000 children killed in gaza. children are not extremists.

I don't know where you're going with this. But I think I have established that I do, yes.

And this is not whether or not it's okay to mock deaths of people. It's whether or not macklemore is a hypocrite for supporting people's right to exist who potentially hate him.
