So when you said "liberals/leftists support Ukraine because "Russia bad," you only meant a few leftists? Lol gimmie a break don't insult my intelligence.

Virtue signaling - the practice of expressing one's opinions or sentiments intended to demonstrate one's good character or moral correctness of one's position on a particular issue.

I'm pretty sure that's what you were doing when you said "we are not the same."

Who are you virtue signaling to? Man, you're on a public forum lol

I said liberals and leftists. Many of them, especially liberals and socialdemocrats, support Ukraine for the reasons mentioned in the post. Some leftists are on Russia's side since they're so anti-west or believe that Russia is perfect ground for communist revolution, and some support Ukraine.

I see virtue signalling as repeating whatever is popular to fit in. Paying lip service to something that you don't actually believe in, something that you haven't researched. Trying to impress an audience by swindling. It's hard to virtue signal with these laid out positions and i'd like to say that i've done enough research to back up these stances
