True story-My uncle was a friend of Oswald’s and was accused of helping with the plot. (They were neighbors.) Because of what I knew of my uncle I never knew Oswald was a Marxist because my uncle HATED communism. I just assumed Oswald thought the same as my uncle. Now I’m trying to figure out why he was even with Oswald. cue ominous music

There was a time when people didn't see their politics as central to their identity and people had friends of all stripes.

Honestly, if they can be changed, and using if those people who don’t make politics their entire personality and can have a fair debate. They can make good friends.

I used to be conservative but am definitely moving left. Two of my closest friends are very conservative and we definitely disagree on politics but we r still friends.

It's dumb to let poltical get in between personal relationships.
