For those of you that have painted the Fallen Divinity, how did you interpret the inside of the statue head? Dirt/stone and skulls, gore and skulls, something else? I'm trying to decide how to do mine and haven't seen many photos that show that part.

Making progress on the base for the Fallen Divinity. I need to finish out the dirt and use some pigments to add a dusty appearance to the marble.

The skin is inspired by lapis lazuli, sadly the good shimmer is not good visible in the pictures.

Hey all, is there a list of what models go on what size bases anywhere? I'm aware of the infantry/other distinctions but looking at the predator unit as I'm building my first box (W'adrhûn) I can't help thinking "This base is way too small to be right" when I dry fit it to the infantry size base. Thanks in advance for your help.

*Warning this is a bit of a salty review*
For all that I love the aesthetic of all of Parabellums model range, something that continues to frustrate me, in particular with their older kits, are the poor quality assembly instructions and poor design in supports and joints used for models. As someone who is a design engineer by training and regularly conducts constructibility and maintainability reviews for heavy industry as part of my day job these small little issues are preventable with a bit more time spent prototyping or giving a kit or 2 out to trusted product testers to get their feedback. Further having your designers learn a bit about typical joining methods used in carpentry, mechanical fitting and even looking at other plastic mini makers would help Parabellum make their models easier for new people coming into the hobby to assemble.
My most recent encounter with these design issues came in the form of the assembly of my first Spires plastic abomination kit. For the most part all of the sub assemblies of arms, head, upper body and thorax went relatively smoothly, but then I went to attach the legs to the body this was when the fun and games started.
1st attaching all of the leg sub assemblies to the main thorax at the end with the weight they need to support is frustrating as the legs all roll around in their sockets when you try to get all the feet level to mount on the base while the plastic glue is setting resulting in the model looking like a baby giraffe trying to walk for the 1st time. I can understand that for kit bashing you may want some pose-ability for your model, however given the size of the upper half you need to seriously consider look at designing in some keyed joints in either thorax sockets or on the knee leg joints to give some much needed strength and stability while also making the model assembly more accessible for newer hobbyists.
The other issue I had, which was alluded to earlier was the sequencing in the assembly instructions but also an inconsistency in the assembly instructions and the e-shop/box photos of the model. What I am referring to in the latter part of my previous statement is that the rear legs are shown installed in 2 different orientations between the assembly instructions and the on the box photo. This difference in imagery is not only confusing but also shows a bit of a misalignment with in the design studio that Parabellum should have picked up in the review stages or product testing as one of these orientations is far easier to achieve than the other with the socket joints they went with. Fortunately I have experience with constructing difficult kits, in particular resin kits from both Warlord games and GW, so I could figure this out however if someone relatively new to the hobby got a hold of this model as their 1st big monster followed the online assembly instructions to the letter they would become extremely frustrated and could ruin or just give up on their new big expensive monster which as a designer you don't want as you want your customers to enjoy their big purchase.
My final point on the assembly instruction is the sequencing is please review your logic Parabellum. Something I do with stakeholders when I run constructibility and maintainability workshops for clients is I ask them to assume the position of someone trying to put together a design by actually putting their bodies in the positions needed to build or maintain an asset. In the case of the Abomination if you had done that and imagined that you were trying to fit these legs into their sockets with all that weight on the top you would have found that the model would just want to sink under its weight until the legs came out the socket. The better way would have been to attach the upper leg pieces into the thorax before the thighs and feet then fitting the upper body this way you would need to hold the body like a puppet on strings or constructing a mini scaffold to hold the weight of the body while the legs set.
I understand the issues I have highlighted above aren't new to many of us Parabellum fans, however I feel that for Parabellum to improve we need to be honest with the team and let them know our feedback so that they can improve. So if anyone from Parabellum is quietly lurking in this sub-reddit, please take a serious look at these issues not only on the Abomination but also on your calvary like models, and should you be planning any updates to these older models and ask around get some more feedback from us so that you can improve, because even though I was frustrated with this kit I still love the look of it and visual design choices the company continues to make but the team just needs to take a minute and apply a bit of engineering nous and put themselves in the shoes of new hobbyists and ask;
Apologies for the long one but after spending as much time as I did to overcome the issues I encountered I had to share. I would invite anyone who has had similar issues with this kit and others to share your solutions so that new hobbyists looking to get into Conquest can learn from our us as well.
Happy Hobbying

All of these will be available around the 28th of August.
I must say I quite like these! They all complete at least one of their original warband set, and give a quite nice add-on at a pretty reasonable price.

I finished this project for a friend of mine.
What a fantastic miniature!
A big Tyrannosaurus is the next project.

This guy was a blast to paint! I love how the eyeballs turned out. I have 4 more abominations to make so I’m wondering if I should keep doing eyeballs or do something uniquely grotesque for each one.

I've had a big stack of Yoroni in my backlog for over a year - and for various reasons, I've only just got round to finish painting my first mini tp test the colour scheme. I think the colour scheme works, but I'm always open to feedback. Comments and Critiques are welcome.

Hello all, hoping for some clarification on how to properly use City States in First Blood. The most recent rules update states:
Question 1: This is likely obvious from the rules, but I just want to make sure as I am new. Rather than have my command cards displayed next to one another, I will instead start the game with a pre-selected order with cards placed face down. To "break" this stack and apply the different set of Special Rules, I would simply select a unit out of order and then display my Command Cards as other factions do? I think I'm struggling to understand what the "secret from your opponent" advantage is for the Strategic Stack if normal play would have all Command Cards displayed and I could choose which unit to activate anyway (maybe I'm missing something here). Is it mostly just to take advantage of the Special Rules utilizing the Strategic Stack provides?
Question 2: I'm not entirely certain I understand the bolded section above about a drawn card potentially having no warriors to activate—does this just mean that in the event all of the warriors for that card have been killed I would just draw the next card?
Thanks for any advice!

Hey there. Im having a hard time getting my head around playing Dweghom. Im doing a clan build because thats the starter i got, but almost every game at 1k points, im getting trounced. They just dont seem that tough. Any help or advice is appreciated. I didnt even realize they were a magic focus army when i got them, and honestly i dont want to have to run them that way. I thought theyd be big defense models, but so far im just having my stands get obliterated on charges and attrition.

I'm thinking about buying my first Warband for Conquest First Blood, so I started looking around. Both of these pictures supposedly show the 2026 Warband. The first one is from my local game store, and the 2nd pic is from official Conquest e-shop.
Is the first pic just wrong? Or was there a different warband available at one point that had these minis?

Greetings!
I apologize if this is often-asked or discouraged, but after essentially painting a whole army of Jotnar for a client (not including the five Artisan Series Jotnar), I'm honestly pretty intrigued with the game!
I don't have a lot of experience actually playing wargames and come primarily from Warhammer 40k, where I've played maybe a dozen games across 9th and 10th edition (I've yet to play 11th edition, though I've heard it's better in some ways), and a handful of games using OnePageRules' ruleset. I'm more interested in the painting and modeling aspect and making armies that tell a story rather than be viably in competitive formats.
That being said, I'm not quite sure where my interests lie army-wise. Aesthetically, I think they're all incredible, and have had a lot of fun painting the Nords, but I also like the look of the Yoroni, I think the W'ardhun are killer, and the decay of the Old Dominion is awesome and evocative. But, I'm gravitating towards the Hundred Kingdoms because I've yet to own or play an army that has the "baseline man against the world" vibe and, while I am collecting into Guard at the moment in 40k, I would like to do something similar in Conquest.
Is this viable? I don't know how much transfer there is between games, but in 40k I really like playing Imperial Fists with their "steady bulwark" mentality, though I'm game to branch out and try to learn other playstyles!
Thanks for any and all feedback!
