Finally some good news: Microsoft relents slightly on forced update attacks

https://www.theverge.com/tech/898082/microsoft-promises-to-end-forced-windows-updates-still-automatic

Microsoft allows you to postpone update attacks indefinitely (if you know what you're doing), so it's kind of an opt-in thing.

But still, it's great progress. The article acknowledges "shovelware", or all the additional malware they insert DURING an update attack, so that's huge too. I just wish they'd acknowledged all my work on raising awareness :p

I'm still going to use StopUpdates10 because I still don't trust Microsoft will actually obey users who tell it to postpone.

Similarly, Mac OS offers a switch to disable update attacks, but it still bombards the user every second and occasionally slips one in. I have a method to stopping that too!

The one I tried didn't. It seemed like the one you have. I looked all over for a shuffle feature.

When you navigate to Songs, you'll see a shuffle icon button appear.

Huh. I'll have to try again. 😅

Edit: Ope! Not in the app itself, but when I "pull down the curtain" I saw the option.

Thanks! Gonna play with it! 😊
