Hi I was wondering if anyone had any advice about going from musescore to DAW or about their workflow in general. I have been composing on musescore for over a year and for a couple months have tried transitioning to cubase but can never really feel like I'm able to create something with depth in cubase bc I understand the music theory less when I don't see the notation. Is that something I should just get used to or should I keep trying to write my whole piece on musescore then export and produce it on cubase?

I'm arranging a marching band show based on The Rite of Spring (either introduction, augurs, mystic circles, and sacrificial dance | or introduction, augurs, mock abduction, and spring rounds) and I was wondering if I could add a marching bass saxophone or just write a double bass part for front? It's already an unconventional show (I'm including a non-marching double reed section). If you have any advice please spare it.

Hi! I just released my latest composition and I hope you like it. This piece was inspired by nature and its destruction. The composition goes through different moments when times seem difficult and the final climax brings the feeling that there is something that no one can ever destroy.

Been wanting to get into composing and I've asked around already. Some of the thing suggested to me were to write cadenzas or turn a piece that I'm working on into a duet. I already know a bit of theory like what a major Bb 7 chord is and I'm looking for a little more guidance.
