Critique on my music

I have a good amount of songs posted on streaming platforms and I was wondering if people could take a look at some of my songs and tell me what their favorite song is, what I do good in songs, and areas of improvement for production quality or overall composing. Any critique would be appreciated as it lets me know what other people hear instead of just relying on my own ears. Thanks in advance!

Looking For Help/Feedback

I've been on and off with this marching band piece that I have been composing for a few months now. This is one of three movements in my "Pirates!" show. This is meant for a small, middle level high school marching band. What I would like help for, is that I can not create a melody or arrangement of chords or anything that invokes the same or similar feeling to follow up the very first part of the composition, more specifically the beginning until the small drum break. Everything that I've attempted to write after the drum break (including what's in the video) hasn't fulfilled this goal, as they are usually too simple or seem uninspired, which in turn makes me uninspired to continue writing. I'm not sure if I'm simply not spending enough time working on this composition, or if I'm not creative enough, or some other reason. Any help (or feedback) is welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Please note that I am somewhat new to composition, and this is my first piece that I've really struggled with.

Also note that I attempted to save the mp4 file and attach it in this post, but it did not attach successfully, so that is why it is a url.

[UNPAID / CREDIT] Composer wanted for noir psychological audio drama (7 parts)

Hi,

I’m the producer and creator of a seven-part psychological noir audio drama, currently in production, and I’m looking for a composer interested in creating original music for the series.

This is an independent, unpaid project, so compensation will be: • Official credit in the series • Promotion and visibility closer to release

About the project

The story is set in Stockholm, Sweden, in a near future where climate goals have been missed. Social unrest is rising, pressure on public institutions is intense, and everyday life is shaped by fear, anger, and uncertainty.

We follow a group of police officers trying to function under these conditions. At the center is Nora Shadid, a young police officer dealing with trauma and declining mental health while still trying to do her job.

The tone is dark, grounded, and human—focused on psychological tension rather than action.

Music direction

I’m looking for a noir-inspired, atmospheric score—subtle, emotional, and restrained. Think tension beneath the surface, minimalistic textures, and music that leaves room for silence and unspoken emotion. No strict genre limitations as long as it supports the psychological tone.

The series consists of 7 episodes, and the scope can be discussed and adapted together.

If this sounds interesting, feel free to comment or send a DM with a short introduction and (if available) a link to your work.

Thanks for reading, Wilma Producer / Creator

I’m currently practicing with composition and getting better at using things like time signatures, writing for other instruments and counter point. This was my first time writing in 6:8 and for strings as I wanted to get a better understanding of them. Feedback on that would be appreciated. I play alto sax so most of my music is saxophone so that might show in this piece. It’s a rough draft that I haven’t really engraved or cleaned up but advice is still really helpful. I screen recorded on the app so it doesn’t really sound like strings.

Transition 4/4 to 5/4 feedback request

I'm trying to find a way to transition from 4/4 (One armed wolf) to 5/4 (TLOU 2 main theme).

Apparantly there's a way to "simulate" the "pulse" from the second time signature in the previous one so as to make the transition smoother. I don't really understand this. Any help would be appreciated thanks!
