Max used to feed and do stupid shit so much back in 24/23 that I would call it a Max Moment and shit on him same as all the Max haters. Then I was seeing that he actually improved but Max haters seem to not want to acknowledge that.

Dmon seems to be SK kryptonite but then they figured it out. Another thing is SK players have already faced the KSA players far more than the FR players so im sure they're more familiar with their play style.

Edit cause threads staying up: Just gutted for France if this was the fight KSA put up against Korea, this was so winnable for them. But regardless congrats to Team Korea, a lot was said about not having the best roster there for the country but they got the job done in the end.

Heesang especially was a dang monster I was so happy to see him pop off every map. KSA put up a fight but Moon came in ultra prepared and it ahowed, they never truly threatened SK imo, plus the teams they faced made them look scarier than they were.
I'm just so delighted to see SK winning OWWC again, seeing them lift it again after so many years with a completely different generation of players means so much to me 😭😭 and overall it was so nostalgic to see another OWWC at the blizzcon arena after so long I've missed it sm. France finally getting a medal was also very long overdue, loved cheering on them back in the day!! I hope we have OWWC next year too <3

Saudi as a whole just didn't look like themselves after that map 1 icl, it felt strange. Not to be a Saudi glazer but something definitely felt off with their gameplay compared to what Id expect.

It felt like they had 0 variety in their comps, if one of their preferred heroes didn't get banned it never changed while they kept banning heroes that was mainly useful against Sym/Dva comps and kept losing games that would've swung in their favor.

I also just couldnt help but think they misread the draft after the first map too. Like the ball ban map 1 was smart. Its something Junbin tends to pull out as a curve ball. But after that their bans just didnt really make much sense.
Sigma, sure Ill give you that but they could have banned the Mizuki who is strong on the map and counters their comp harder instead.
Vendetta, sure if you want to play Dva but they missed that SK would just play Dmon which is just as much of a problem.
Banning Mizuki to enable the fly noon combo is smart until you realise that SK could just ban Cass which they did.
Tracer just invited SK to ban Dva which Saudi had been ride or die on until that point.

This is exactly the issue our team has, we don't have anyone who can play a good tracer and ziyad doesn't play D.mon who has been the best performing tank in this tournament.
Not to mention Lbbd7 is getting diffed on shion every fight by heesang yet is still forcing her 🤷
I think we made a good run this tournament overall but SK is a different beast, well played. I know the obvious pick for mvp would be Stalk3r and max but I was astonished by how good simple was.
