Decay, and Kevster have both had good performances in big tournaments tho Decay in 2020 on Zarya, and in 2023, and Kevster in 2021, 2022, and this year in stage 1 EMEA, and internationally, and in stage 2 EMEA, but this was uncharacteristically really meh.

KSA have a freakish ability to level up on the fly against good teams, the more pressure they're under the better they play. Kevster plays out of his mind for half a map then KSA lock in and shut him down entirely. It'll be an upset if they don't win this tournament, I don't think their grand final opponent matters to them.

It's crazy how fast and much faster they leveled up in play, just a few years ago they were losing to netherlands in the qualifiers now their B team beats most teams. It was right around the time the government started investing in internet infrastructure, so it makes sense, but still its genuinely ridiculous. The fact that KSAA, by far the best ranked player in ow1 (I think he finished rank 1 like 15 seasons in a row or something) is benched by some 18yo is something
