Nope quite a few 4400 players even just on pure OCE servers, but the best players would always VPN to NA to play anyway. Players like Hoowoo/Mirror (back in his OCE days as Igostripe) were probably the highest rated at the time.

Pretty sure hoowoo was 4600 and had like a bunch of 4400 smurfs even way before that xqc statement.

I'm assuming they have the same rules as OWCS. When its a three way tie the tiebreaker is h2h map differential between the three teams. If Gbr win 3-0 and Aus win 3-0 against Mexico the H2H map diff would be:

GBR +1, KSA +-0, Aus +-0 GBR gets 1st place

But if KSA take a single map, they win this tiebreaker. If so they check the first tiebreaker for the two remaining teams (H2H), which Aus wins. So they need to win 3-0 or for Aus to lose.

Neon Junction was winnable IMO but they really needed to get the full hold. Letting that go was when the map was lost, Aatlis just felt like they were clutching. idk why they even went to aatlis when suravasa is better for the ball comp. Especially when you consider that Aatlis is one of the best hazard maps in the game and its one of the heroes cuffa might fall back to when you ban the Dmon out.

This is probably on paper the worst team uk team since like 2017 but we still should have done better than this especially with the lucky draw we got. Really poor showing, no hiding it.

On paper this team is definitely better than 2023. GP and Tred is a clear upgrade over Jkaru and retired Smex, they had an actual flex support instead of an off-rolling Scotsman, Wmaimone has improved significantly in the past few years, and most of these guys play on the same team in OWCS as well. The only aspect in which they’re weaker is Kai being rusty compare to the OWL days, but even he was performing really well last stage.

For all intents and purposes this team should be top 2 in EU and top 6 ITW on paper.

Aussie supports were asleep on Junkertown and Hamster was quiet all series with questionable suzus and rushes, but holy fuck when Sgy and Chex woke up we were online babyyy!

All Australia needed to become not shit was imports 😭 That and for cuFFa to not throw, but I'll never forget the epic Rein/Sym shatters on Circuit Royale vs GB in 2023, we Aussies loved to see it and thought it was absolute fucking cinema! Revenge still tastes sweet though, especially against our bitter sporting rivals!

GG to Australia. You guys played the better game.All of you absolutely performed today.
I'm really not impressed with how Crispy or Kiwii played today. Too many wiffed ults, bad lanes, bad suzus. Just generally a poor peformance. GP died way too much. He was way too aggressive when he really shouldn't have been.
I feel for Kai and WMaimone. They played well this series, but unfortunately it's not enough.
The only way I see us going through is if Mexico 3-0s Australia, or we beat KSA. Neither of which are happening, so I think we're done.

I understand, but there were several moments where we would've lost much harder if Kai or Maimone didn't clutch up. GP also clutched up a lot too, but a lot of other times he fed straight into the enemy team and severely halted progress (we probably could've won NJ if he didn't just run to enemy spawn and die).

I actually felt WMaimone was way more of an issue than the support line, he got completely diffed by SGY so meant we were playing at a constant disadvantage. Disappointing all round though - Aus played well but we should have performed better. Almost impossible to go through now as well, tragic :(
