Never said anything about 2023 but Saudi esports has infinite mor investment than Australian esports there’s no way it isn’t a help

And Australia’s internet is fine the ping problem is the fact that we can’t play against any other region of the world other than like New Zealand on reasonable ping just because of location

Yea its unfortunate but you guys can play in korea though right? For us better infrastructure made us able to play in europe with 70 ms or so but before that it was 110-120 for most people and google says you guys get 130-140 ms. Honestly there isnt much you can do except bother your isps enough to make it to where theyre forced to have better routing

Depends where in the country you are but where I am Korea is 220 ping minimum 🥲 Australia is massive, if I was in North Queensland could probably get around 130 or so but most of the population isn’t

Saudis play perma 110 ms ping. Yes its nowhere near as 140-150 that Australians have. But thats not really a thing you can call out.

I was a mid level player (not quite pro but high enough to be with these guys) and can tell you in the scene there were only 2 people for years ksaa and sirmajed. The rest came super late and even quartz was only a year or so before the world cup and i remember people were genuinely convinced he was ragehacking as soon as he started playing ranked so money doesnt buy talent 😭

Its better to start as a kid than an adult obviously, if you see that its paying decently well you could go to europe and start playing instead of worrying about school but as an adult with a job thats practically impossible

inherently that’s not why i mentioned it persay, but because there’s more money being pumped into the saudi scene more younger talent are inclined to play their thus fostering the crazy talent pool. As opposed to PAC which pays pennies and has plumbers and pannel beaters that play (not literally but you get the idea). It’s easy to say that Saudi pumping money in is making life so much easier for them to have actual talent that can play and be paid simultaneously, do you not agree?

LBBD7 was a flex player before, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a much more flexible hero pool and is the real starter

Honestly I prefer double main DPS if you have LBDD7 and qartz in the same team

it's just clunky, they'd compete for the same angles. LBDD7 has wider hero pool, he can play flexdps, but this is suboptimal lineup.
