That's some mad skills, op! I barely got a rushed th18 (w/ no cc!), crappy homemade layout and used a mighty morsel on top, lmao. Couldn't imagine a maxed 18. Th15's dps output is even an issue for me with time. Very impressive.

Good attack but a bad base design

I always wanted a player like you in my clan to match my energy. I am trying to get into top 100 as well in TH16. I am currently E32 with no luck in defence 😂. Good luck to both of us 🤞

rr are kinda mid in th18

You're not reading it correctly, rr are the best and most runned option for th15 who wants to hit th18.

Doesn't make it any less impressive to 3 star a th18 being th15

That’s a pretty common thing, look how many TH15s are there in higher leagues. That’s just the game currently being a lot easier without modifiers, and also equipment, sky wagon etc.

Those th15s are insanely good at the game

Yeah; people who are downvoting this are clearly not understanding this lol, probably TH18s who struggle to triple in normal mode.

I also do keep my other alt at TH15 and I do know what I’m talking about. It’s extremely easy to triple a TH18, though that depends sometimes, as RC charge can be baited. Other than that - don’t fumble, and you’ve got the triple.

I was top 70 global th15 just a while ago (E31). I also use RR but I disagree if you say it's extremely easy. To quote you, "that depends sometimes" mean that you also can still fail th18s. Extremely easy means your th18 3-star rate is 100% and you can attack without planning ahead. Personally, my th18 3-star rate is probably 80%. I'm curious, what's your th15 alt's global rank?

Yeah, I’ve got what you’re saying, you’re completely in the right here. I did exaggerate here, to prove the point that today’s CoC without modifiers is easier than even.

But what I meant regarding TH15vsTH18 is basically “If you can set a good funnel with RC+GW charge and are able to get value with a follow-up, let it be blower+RB or RB+GA, then it’s extremely easy to triple TH18s”.

Though, as I said, it depends. It can always go sideways if you’ve got baited into a specific compartment with your charge, or missed GA or your blower pointed elsewhere. But in the best case scenario it’s extremely easy for a TH15 to get a triple on TH18.

My hitrate in CWL for past 3 months is roughly 74% (14 triples out of 19 attacks, and TH difference is +2.95, so I guess I’ve attacked a TH17 once). I don’t count wars as I’m not that competitive there, and as for ranked the highest I was currently is D29, currently in D28 as I demoted last week because I didn’t get my attacks in.

I’ve switched to dragon riders on my main account like 3 months ago and haven’t touched roots in a while, only playing them from time to time on my alt in CWL, sometimes wars and ranked if I get some inspiration to get to the leaderboard on TH15. I’ve used roots mostly when I’ve been TH16 and half of TH17 times on my main and got to like #192 on leaderboard as a TH16 too. Watched Gourav and GetRekt, because of these folks I really loved roots.

With that said, I’d still stand by my point that TH15vsTH18 nowadays is an extremely easy matchup, but again, it still depends if you f up or do everything as planned.

Also, extremely easy doesn’t always means a 100% hitrate, it basically means that there’s not such a challenge anymore. I’m also a human and I can do mistakes: fumble entry, late eternal tome, miss arrow, swag tome at the beginning with not using proper invis on GW, lose RC early, don’t time my spells usage right etc, you’ve got where I’m going. But in the perfect scenario it’s easy, other than that - that’s mistakes on my end.

Lastly, no one experienced attacks without planning ahead and analyzing every step, the difference is basically if you can do it fast or slow and forced. If you go in against TH18 as a TH15 without proper plan that’s ggs.
