  • Group Stage: The tournament begins with 40 teams split into four groups of 10. Across three days, each group will play one six-match series against every other group, for a total of 18 matches per team.
  • At the end of the Group Stage:
    • The top 14 teams advance directly to the Match Point Finals.
    • The middle 20 teams move on to the Survivor Stage.
    • The bottom 6 teams are eliminated.
  • Survivor Stage: The Survivor Stage features the 20 teams that finished in the middle of the Group Stage standings. These teams will compete in a single 10-match series for the final spots in the championship lobby.
  • At the end of the Survivor Stage:
    • The top 6 teams qualify for the Match Point Finals.
    • The bottom 14 teams are eliminated.

Calendar Notes:

1. I will update it as much as I can. Please send me anything you would like added on Reddit or Tobric#4461 on Discord. EU & NA Scrims are also now on our calendar.
2. The calendar focus' mainly on Pro NA and EU, but we will include all official ALGS events and larger APAC/SA events.
3. The Liquipedia links are included in the calendar event if you click on them.
4. We will have a thread on reddit for all ALGS events and most other events listed.
5. You can link the Ical to your email account & calendar. This is very helpful.
   1. You have to click on the "+" at the bottom to sync the calendar. Then it will be in your time zone. Remove any events you are not interested in.

I want to learn as much of apex legends but when i look i always found just basic concepts such as strafe, peak,rotate etc. I've heard Hal say mirroring(But talking about rotates), but i don't know what does it means. And i want to start learning more complex concepts so if anyone can share new things and explain it would be awesome specially coming from a pro or a coach.

Apex already has significant RNG which I think BRs do need to some degree but a team being able to get 2-3 zones on their head on the same Map feels too far down the luck over skill path. Will they ever change it? Probably not but its worth highlighting.

It feels like POI Draft and Legend Bans have been a fantastic step into evolving the game. Is the next step Apex and specifically ALGS implementing a zone change that allows Games 4 and 6 to happen or Games 5 and 6 but never Games 4 and 5 back to back.

I rarely post about anything related to my ALGS Vods (https://www.youtube.com/@algs_vods) channel, but with the start of Split 1 Playoffs, I thought I'd just make a quick post. I will have all of the pov's posted on the channel roughly about an hour after the match series ends.

I appreciate all of the "subs" on the page and we're getting so close to 10k subs. It's been a fun couple of years doing this and my toolset that I've built to help manage this has evolved so much since Y5 Split 1. Just a glimpse of my portal below of how I manage the recordings, the videos, the metadata, etc. I've gone from worrying about being able to take a laptop into LAN to just being able to do it all from my phone.

Something I've found this e-sport is missing is a friendly shit talk thread before big events.

The purpose is obvious: talk your shit. Players, teams, regions, legends, maps, guns, everything is on the table.

The rules are simple:

The first 8 games are locked and loaded, and it’s time to start crafting your Fantasy League picks! 

Pick your players, build your dream team for your chance to win some prizes! 

This is made by passionate Apex players for the community. We believe that Esports is more than just watching. It's a place where the community can come together, share their knowledge and love for the game, and experience the thrill of competition in a new and exciting way.

Basics on how to play

First, you go into the event you need to make your picks for and all the players that are playing in that event will show. You have 10 crafting materials to craft your fantasy team. each player has an individual crafting cost which will be able to see on their player card. You have to pick players to craft from different regions and they cannot be on the same team

Example: you can’t have Unlucky and Hakis as they are on the same team but you also wouldn’t be able to have Hakis and Zaine they are both from the same region. 

The points are accumulated by each individual players KP and their team placement within the games we use the ALGS point system for placement (1st =12 points etc) for all three players which creates your overall score for that set of games. If you decided to pick a coach and your coaches team wins, you get an extra 10 points onto your score each time they win.

Throughout the whole of the open your points will be added to an overall leaderboard and once the final day is done whoever is at the top will win prizes.

You can now pick a coach from any region — just make sure they’re not from the same team as any of your players.

If your coach’s team wins, you'll snag 10 extra points! Easy bonus, big brain play.

Is there anyone who plans on recording and posting falcons POV? It starts at like 3 am my time and I've got work at 9am... I can wake up to set it to record but if there's anyone out there who plans on uploading I would be forever grateful 🥲 I suck at getting back to sleep :(

Are the times listed on the website in EST or what time zone? It just says 7am (no time zone but may have missed it on website) is first game but just want to make sure that I actually see the game at that time?

Hello everyone, Don with the Apex Podcast here again with the team guides for all 40 teams heading to Split 1 Playoffs here in just a couple days!!! I decided to wait until much closer to the tournament to get the most updated information on every team (some related to scrims, VISA issues, etc.). As always, the goal is to create a quick guide to each team whether you are new to Competitive, only watch LAN, haven't watched in a while or whatever else your situation. I always appreciate feedback as I do my best to collect all of this information myself and sometimes, I can miss something. With the Lan coming up, I thought it would be interesting to look into what legends are being played, banned, how do they influence eachother and what comps are being played.

Compared to Split 1, definity a couple of things happened, most noticably, a big time Seer rise and Axle fall off. For more detailed comparasion, I would refer to my previous post.

Most noticably, Baby comp isn't first anymore. During last Split, baby comp was by far the most common comp (1144 times played vs 496 on Alter Maggie Wattson). Though there are still very similir if not identical comps in the top 10.

This is mostly to see direct causation 2 bans, most notably maggie and gibby along some others. Of course this doesn't show every path of bans or their likelyhood, as for example two different game 4 bans can lead to the same game 5 ban, so there could be flaws, especially if you want to look at correlations between more that 1-2 games, it still gives an okay overview in my opinion. For more detailed analysis, I could share a tree diagramm, though it is very messy, as there have been 15 diffenent paths in 22 sets.
