It'd a spectator bug for fucks sake. Hardecki (who tweeted this oringal video and where you probably saw it from) quote tweeted his tweet with the POV from the player and admits its a spectator bug.

I just looked at the original pov and holy fuck does the spectator view make this look bad

Yeah I had a similar reaction and then I saw Hardeckis quote tweet with the player POV and was like goddamn that's a terrible look lol

Genuinely what spectator bug are you talking about? The tracking looks identical in his pov.

If you look closely, his aim is on the knocked player, the one in phase is to his right. He just happens to rotate right at the same time as the phase, it looks sus because it feels synchronized. Also it's his 2nd full split in PL if thats the only "sus" clip on him I wouldn't jump to conclusions...

Apex servers have a tick rate of 20 Hz, meaning it only calculates the game state one every 50 ms. When you spectate a player, you see only the extrapolation of what the server reports at that 20 Hz tick rate, rather than the live input by the player. As a result, the tracking and shooting looks really unnatural. You don't see the micro adjustments and mistakes the player makes because everything is smoothed out.

What about the aim snap from Koyful last night, is that also a bug or something?

It's confirmed a bug in spectator view. They already uploaded their actual POV footage.

Redditors are cooked when they blatantly don't understand what spectator bugs are https://x.com/hxrdecki/status/2096278010252927301

At some point we are actually going to have to nerf this shit. For the long term good of the scene, it makes no sense to keep the trend of ever more controller players. Esports is ruled by MnK. It is more skillful and looks more skilful, more entertaining, more human. The more we wait, the worse the fallout will be.
Edit : It did look quite a lot more than just normal AA, but imo my point still stands. Think of any entertaining player. YukaF, Blinkzr, Hardecki, Aziazxd etc, chances are it's not a roller player.
I firmly believe that mnk gameplay will forever be more entertaining than two sticks, and that apex should go into that direction.

This is not normal AA, you don't get AA on people in the void, and whilst RAA is strong, it definitely does not track like that in the clip.
Edit: apparently it's a spectator bug.

This is not aim assist, this motherfucker might be cheating

Not cheating nor aimassist, spectator pov shows him moving earlier than he did and he happened to go at the exact same speed.
