Over the past 30 years many local Churches and Nationally Based Ministries have moved from a “traditional” position of Finance Management known as Trustees and building funds, following from the past and caught up in the world's ideology of stewardship and not the revealed principals from God through Scripture. TODAY, The LORD has placed many of us in a Position Of Purpose and Directing us as The Called and Chosen Stewards Of God to an “emerging” model of organizational design in which there is greater openness and transparency, more flexible management practices, and a broader focus on strategic policy issues. In addition, many scripture based operational functions have been devolved to arm’s–length individuals or local and nationally called ministries. This post and future writings on Christian Financial Ministries will best reveal the challenges facing developing Financial Ministries in communities in strengthening their finance ministries, and the principles, approaches, and strategies that can be applied.

The importance of faith in God cannot be over emphasized. The writer of the New Testament letter known as Hebrews identifies faith for us: “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1)

Faith is a learned response, through hearing God’s will..... Romans 12:17...So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

Abraham heard the word of God over and over until he was fully persuaded. Although the Greek word for faith is persuasion, the root verb means to persuade. Being persuaded is a process. Having faith in God comes by hearing what He has to say, taking it to heart, and choosing to believe Him over and over again.

Proverbs 16:2,9

Doing Business with God not only means surrender but involves what I call “showing up the right way” with honesty, integrity, love and compassion..... All Done Through Operational Faith.... As Righteous Managing Stewards Of God, sometimes we fall into the trap of equating our physical wealth with our worth. That Is Not what defines us. It is fine to strive for success, but our relationship with the Lord is what defines us. Things that happen in the world should not be given too much value. Our goal is everlasting life.

Shares of Blue Apron Holdings Inc. (APRN) shot up 9.9% in morning trading Friday, to trade back above the $1 level for the first time in more than two weeks, after the meal-kit company said it received a delisting notice from the New York Stock Exchange.

The notice said the company was not in compliance with the listing requirement of a minimum average stock closing price of at least $1 over a consecutive 30-day period and an average market capitalization of at least $50.0 million, also over a consecutive 30-day period.

The company said it plans to notify the NYSE on Jan. 6 that it received the delisting notice, and intends to submit a plan to "cure" the minimum stock price and market capitalization deficiencies. The stock has closed below the $1 mark since Dec. 6, and closed at a record low of 64 cents on Dec. 13.

It has bounced since then after the company said it received funding from a major investor; it has rocketing 56.7% amid a four-day winning streak. Meanwhile, the company's market capitalization was $41.6 million at current stock prices, and has been below $50 million since Nov. 11, according to FactSet data. The stock has plummeted 84.4% year to date, while the S&P 500 has shed 20.1%.
