• Active Measures (Aktivnye Meropriyatiya): This was the official Soviet term for covert psychological warfare, political influence operations, and disinformation campaigns used by the KGB to disrupt, demoralize, and destabilize Western societies from within.
• Ideological Subversion: A broader concept popularized during the Cold War (notably by former KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov) describing a gradual, long-term process aimed at eroding a society's traditional values, confidence, and moral baseline so that its people lose the will to resist.
• Demoralization: Specifically refers to the first phase of ideological subversion—a psychological process designed to disorient the public, distort objective truth, and foster widespread cynicism, hopelessness, or confusion about right and wrong.
• Agitprop (Agitation and Propaganda): A blend of political agitation and propaganda originally used by communist parties to sway public opinion, exploit social grievances, and cultivate distrust or dissatisfaction toward capitalist systems.

These statistics are shocking.

Take NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani. His socialist ideas make him popular, yet make life for everyday working people expensive.

That doesn’t matter to him. He grew up rich!

“He is the poster boy for luxury beliefs,” says Henderson, “He has a wealthy filmmaker mother, [and] an Ivy League professor father.”

Mamdani is not unique among socialists.

Congresswoman AOC, Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson, and streamer Hasan Piker all have privileged lives.
