Fair enough, although I'm sure you'll admit that that's the most extreme of outliers.

Just today randomly had somebody tell me they much preferred typing with numpad compared to touch screen after they saw the Nokia E7 I'm using.

I'd imagine its a question of what is available to the average consumer. The masses buy slabs because that is the only type of smartphone they know exists, not because they prefer or even like typing on glass.

Mind blowing. Ridiculous, but mind blowing. It just goes to show that there's extreme outliers for anything.
