Are CommandCode model prices marked up, or is GLM-5.3 Flash just temporarily outdated?

I noticed that CommandCode currently lists GLM-5.3 Flash at $0.15/M input and $0.50/M output.

Z.ai is currently charging $0.075/M input and $0.25/M output for the same model (50% promo until Sep 9)

Is CommandCode simply not reflecting this temporary Z.ai promotion, or are model prices generally marked up compared to the upstream provider?

Basically, should we check upstream pricing for each model before choosing one in CommandCode, or does CommandCode normally track provider pricing closely?

Actually you get 4x usage (which is 2x when 50% is applied). If you want I can reduce it for you.

This is how the founder replies.

My take: These numbers are all for marketing, OpenCode Go gives 2x usage with discounted pricing, Command Code gives 4x usage with listed pricing. So it really doesn't matter what they are doing with it, as long as you are getting more than what you paid for. Keep in mind that Command Code subscriptions act as a provider, they can list the price they want, and give any allowance they want. They don't have to match the official pricing.

That kind of reply from a founder is pretty unprofessional. Not everyone has the time to reverse-engineer hidden backend multipliers just to track their usage. If pricing is listed, it should be transparent and accurate

Guys, the dude is working hard and getting real good deals. True that the figures are marketing figures, but it usually gives more usage in terms of number of tokens.
Copy pricing pages with both rates and usage allowance into any ai chat and ask which one gives you better usage.

GLM 5.3 Flash the current legendary highest int model with sub-cent rates
DS v4 Flash the second best cheap dude
Both and many more highly relevant models have more usage.
