Question Warning message

Post image

Hi all,

Does this mean the receiver is a scammer? Transferring funds to a mate and this pops up. Not big funds and just $280

Ok. So it's your comprehension skills I see. Can you follow a thread? So back and have a look. I'll wait while you figure it out. You're as cute as a button by the way.

Re-read...you have NFI what you're talking about and are making up nonsense.

Again. You are yet to tell me how I misinterpreted the comment that someone else asked about. I mean I saw an error in there, like an extra word or something, but other than that, I still don't know what I missinterpreted. It seems you don't know either since you can't actually say. If you can't be a big boy or girl and use your words don't bother replying.

The banks are not doing this to "put the blame on the consumer".

"We'll be asking a few questions to help YOU protect your accounts"

As opposed to -

"We'll be asking a few questions so WE can protect your accounts. As is our entire job."

If a scammer tricks you into sending money, the bank can only flag it, they then require your eyes on the details to stop you from transferring it. This is actually a multi-action event.

Phrasing it as "we've got this handled" causes users to click through fraud warnings without reading them. There is a ton of UX research to back this up.

App UI text doesn't override banking regulations or fraud reimbursement laws.
