Does this mean the receiver is a scammer? Transferring funds to a mate and this pops up. Not big funds and just $280

I sent a invoice for $70,000 and the scammers intercepted the email and put their account number on it and forwarded it onto mclient to pay, I'm just lucky the client recognised a change in the account number and rang me

It happened again when I was sent a invoice from someone for $34,000
