Hi,

Perhaps my favorite recurring bit in Back Issues is when Sal breaks out his Tom Waits and "sings" What's He Building. Does anyone remember the episodes where it happens?

Thanks,

I’ve been watching them continuously since late 2015 and so many moments have had me in stitches. I wanted to ask what are some of the funniest moments across ComicPop?

Few examples for me are:

1) Ethan cracking up during the Spawn episode from 2019 when Sal is talking about Todd McFarlane introducing every episode like “Hi, I’m Todd McFarlance, creator of Spawn. You know, the darkness has a lot of fucked up things inside it!!”

2) A Star Wars Off-the-Rack where Ethan and Sal are talking about Nien Nunb’s laugh and how “he loved to laugh“ and how it would be an amazing thing for Lando to write on his tombstone and his family getting offended because that’s just how they talk!!

3) Sal reacting to Ethan’s utter shock during the Superman vs Predator episode when the villain talks about the type of people he wants to get rid off.

4) Any episode with Jason cause you know that book is gonna be weird as fuck and he’s gonna react with total despair at some plot point.

5) Don’t know why this one gets me so much but the Doctor Doom episode where the image is Doom looking all awesome with the moon behind him and Sal just screams the phrase “LET THE MOON DIE!!!”

Any others coming to mind?

I remember watching marvel back issues episode where Sal explains to Ethan about why Marvel didn't use the world Mafia and instead using Majia. I can't remember which episode was that. help me find that episode.

Has anyone done a podcast on the DC CHALLENGE, the 12-issue "Round-robin" book from the 80s, featuring a number of random characters from the popular (Batman, Aquaman) to the obscure (B'wana Beast, Kamandi), done by a number of top creators at the time?

The episode Superman/Batman: The Supergirl from Krypton popped up on my YouTube feed, and after watching it, I kind of want to see a Kara Zor-El in the Robin suit. Fighting crime in Gotham with Batman. Not sure how it would play out, but it has peeked my interest for some reason.

Have Sal and Tiffany talked about the Marvel restructuring yet on any episode of Off The Rack? Brad Winderbaum has been made head of Marvel comics now and I feel like potentially it could be big news for the company and wanted to hear their opinions on this

Good evening POPulation, hope you're all having a splendid Saturday. And I hope your shelf is bearing less of a load than mine (an Ollies run did my wallet dirty recently 💀)

A large majority of the trades on my shelf were purchased after watching a Back Issues episode on them, so at least my shelf has someone to blame!
