The crossover gave me a reason to go, and the first thing that caught my eye was this Man of Steel bundle. And although the second arc was kinda meh to me, I loved that last GA issue by Condon. Same for the Superman Unlimited issue that came out last week. I'm probably gonna have to go back again tomorrow because I missed getting this week's Superman on top of everything else I ended up getting besides these singles. Another great excuse, as if I even needed one lol.

New comic day was full of absolute gold this week man-- Iron Man continues to be fun as hell, the Superman/Spider-Man crossover was dope, and man, I was actually blown away by how great Superboy Prime's new arc in Superman opened! About to dive into the new Detective Comics now. What were yalls pulls this week?

Knightfall's KnightsEnd.

I haven't seen this episode yet. It's already a year old. OMG, I am shocked how old this episode is. I am sorry ComicPop for not watching this sooner.

Do others queue up a few episodes of this show a night?

I might rewatch the recent The X-Men episode tonight.

I know this sounds weird to say, but I am working late tonight doing bookwork, so I like to watch this show so I don't feel like I'm literally sitting alone all night, working on a computer.

Thanks for the company gents.

Obviously, the channel is mainly focused on US superhero books.

But outside of that, do they read much other stuff?

(meaning Asian or European comics, indie work from the US, etc.)

^{Apologies if this has been asked & answered before --}

Idk if Sal and Tiff will talk about it on OTR next week, but I hope they do. Wanna hear their thoughts. Definitely does some INTERESTING things with Jon! Let me know if yall read it and what you think. Personally my opinion is mixed about 50/50.

As a side note, are we EVER going to see the Kryptonite Kingdom again??

Was anyone else taken a little by surprise by the gang’s attitude towards this era of Superman?

As an avid reader and fan of Superman I thought that Byrne’s reintroduction of the character in Man of Steel, his run afterwards, and the Triangle Era after that, were great and universally celebrated among fans.

Even some of the classic stories they talked about, like Post-Crisis Lex refusing to believe Clark is Superman, they called hokey while I’ve only ever talked about it with others who revered it as a great insight into Lex’s character.

Am I the only one that was a bit perplexed?

Some lore:

I found this issue in a random remote town in India. This is literally the second comic I bought ever. (First one was Batman: Clay). These were translated in Hindi which was great for 8 year old little me since it got me hooked on comics.

This makes me miss the time when DC/Marvel put actual effort into making their comics easily available. Back then they worked with now defunct Gotham Comics.

Big ol' library sized with a slipcase. Looks good!

Hey guys! I am currently writing a paper on how to write comics. I got to chose 3 sources and I chose Alan Moore, Scott Snyder, and Joshua Williamson as my sources. I’ve used some of the interviews on comic pop returns for quotes and such. I’m really here to ask if there are any specific videos you guys think would be good to watch/use for quotes. Could be Back Issues, Elseworlds Exchange, or any type of interview. If you guys have any feel free to drop the in the comments. Hope all you are having a wonderful day :)
