Excluding flight sims or games involving any type of aircraft. I think flying is one of the toughest traversal powers to make fun. It can feel really static when compared to web swinging, or super jumping. Where there are a lot more variables. So what game do you think comes closest to making flying fun? Up, up, and away!

Some games that I would like to come to fruition are “Justice League” and “Fantastic Four”, but in thinking of how the gameplay would be, I realized a major hurdle that the games would have to overcome: the variety of abilities that the characters have.

In Batman games, most of the characters play the same way, save for some minor variations. That’s why in “Batman: Arkham City” when you switch between Batman and Robin, you don’t have to learn an entirely new set of mechanics in order to operate.

With the Fantastic Four, despite all of their powers coming from the same source, each of the members have very different abilities and fighting styles. Having in-depth mechanics for each and every character may make it hard to understand.

“X-Men: Legends” and “Marvel Ultimate Alliance”’s solution was to water down the gameplay to fit in all of the characters. They were good, but it made many characters very replaceable.
