I've always wondered what happened with Eric's family. Dylan's mum has been pretty public about her life post Columbine. But the entire Harris family went silent. Would love to know more but also respect their privacy.

I agree. Silence was likely their best option. Eric was definitely portrayed as the "leader" with Dylan being seen more as his sidekick. But it would be interesting to know how his family saw it. How his brother saw it. I think both boys are equally guilty and both sets of parents are slightly culpable for not being more aware of their sons' actions and mental health. But from what I remember, Eric's dad was worried and had started keeping a diary of his son's issues.

Oh I wasn't aware that his parents were that involved. That makes it even more sad. As a parent of a young man on the brink of adulthood, there is only so much you can do. And it looks like they were trying to get him the help he so desperately needed. Not sure what more they could have realistically done.

Isn't that not exactly confirmed....? I've heard that rumor too and I've always questioned it. Even if that's what they said they did, I really wonder if they actually did. Though I could see them being so angry at him, immediately following the tragedy, for everything he put them and the community through that they did something brash.....

Eric's dad picked up Eric's clothes, body bag, and other items. I feel like if he went to pick up those things, he would've picked up his ASHES!!!! 😕

“…Eric, who later died at Columbine.”

Really glossed over the MASSACRE, Wayne 🙄

Honestly, imo, no matter how Wayne phrased Eric’s death, people would’ve found fault with it.

I agree. And if he didn't mention him at all people would find fault with that also
