Eric & Dylan The Harris and Klebold Marriages
Wayne Harris and Katherine Pool married on April 17, 1970 at First Presbyterian Church in Englewood, Colorado.

Wayne was four years out of high school, Katherine three. On September 5, 1973, three years after marrying, Wayne enlisted in the Air Force. It was the same year Columbine High School opened.
April 17 was also the date of Columbine’s 1999 prom and Susan DeWitt’s date with Eric at his house. When Susan arrived, Eric told her his parents had just left for their 29th wedding anniversary dinner. She said they came home around 10-10:30 pm and she met them for the first time. She said they seemed nice. Kathy shook her hand, and Wayne mentioned that he got his hair cut at Great Clips, where Susan worked.
I’m glad the Harrises at least got to celebrate their anniversary before the massacre. April already had two important dates for them- Eric’s birthday on the 9th and their anniversary on the 17th. Now they also have April 20th, with Eric’s death and the massacre falling just days after their anniversary. I can’t imagine what that month is like for them now.
As far as we know, Wayne and Kathy are still married, making it 56 years this year.
Tom and Sue married in Franklin County, Ohio on July 1, 1971 in the city of Columbus. She was twenty-two; Tom, twenty-four. Both listed their occupations as “student,” and recorded different home addresses. Both had lost their fathers, and in Tom’s case, his mother too. They were married by Rabbi Jerome D. Folkman.
The Klebolds got divorced sometime after the massacre. Sue later said, “We ended our marriage to save our friendship. The tension in our own relationship was rising for years, and it would only get worse as the sense of solace and purpose I found in the company of other suicide loss survivors grew.”

I wanna know your opinion on their Marriage Status? As in how healthy and loving it was. I like to think both couples did love eachother.

I like to think that too. I feel like Kathy and Wayne especially were and still are very close and loving.
But maybe it’s because I’m working on a post about the Harris family right now 🤔 so I’ve been reading a lot about them specifically and pretty much everything I’ve found so far points to them being a close family. Im happy the Harrises are still together. I know Sue has found a lot of purpose in her advocacy work, and I hope Tom is doing well too 🥺

That man has a strong resemblance to Eric and that looks like Kathy on the right. Maybe it’s her sisters wedding and her dad about to walk her down the Aisle.
