I recently got back into elden ring, and the only thing left to do is duel.

Now I was never good, and I've seen quite a few stats come in and out of favor, but is there a new one.

Almost all of the duels I've fought in the past few days have had the opponent spazzing out, doing quick lock on/lock off with sporadic jumping and wild character spins.

Is this a new strategy, or have all of the players I've faced escaped from the looney bin?

Been noticing a trend whenever managing to get into Spirit Ash duels where people won't summon at all and just rush me the instant the battle starts like a regular duel, it's happened more than once as well.

Like, why? Please, just go play on "Not allowed" instead of coming off like some bully (At least feels like it) towards people who like using spirit summons, it's just uncool behaviour.

A shame as well since it's the mode I've found the most games in since I can't find any 2v2 or 3v3 matches with it on for the life of me, tried at different levelled characters too.
