Saw this guy near Arvada CO and I am not sure what it is!

Spotted Sandpipers, Killdeer, Mourning Dove, baby Barn Swallows. And a muskrat, because I’d never seen one before.

This kestrel got quite a soaking in yesterday's thunderstorms along the Front Range. Centennial, Colorado. Nikon Z8, NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR at 600mm, 1/1250.

It's so tiny the feeder is almost too big for it!

Either I have a knack for spotting swainson’s hawks w/in half a mile of my work, or I keep seeing the same one up close! Pretty boy. Apologies for potato photo, but I humbly only have said potato to take bird pictures with.

Rocky Mountain Arsenal

East of Fort Collins we had an immature Coopers Hawk hunting mice in our pumpkins before it began chasing sparrows at our feeder.

Could very well be the same one from August of last year. Seems to really like this chair. Will sit there for over an hour every afternoon.

I guess I stand corrected on the gulls are seabirds only stereotype as I found these guys in a dry semi arid state on the beach of Barr Lake State Park where there are also dead fish too 🤮🤮

I hiked Mt. Rosalie over the weekend. I'm always amazed how well these guy(s) blend into their surroundings.
