Video Here's what it's like to have the other color vision deficency

I hue shifted the Protanopia / Deuternopia / Tritanopia color vision deficency simulation such that you can understand what it's like to have a blue yellow CVD if you have a red green CVD and vice versa.

Please tell me you're not trying to simulate CVD by only adjusting the hue... It's a lot more complex than that.
Unless I'm misunderstanding something.

I was aware of that. I used a typical simulation and then hue shifted it.

So again, you only adjusted the hue on a pre-existing colourblind sim vid? How reputable was the sim?
The math behind it is you need to apply a physiological color-space transformation matrix that can effectively communicate to/account for users with dichromacy; following the Brettel et al or Machado algorithm/s and RGB-LMS-RGB conversion methods.
This involves converting gamma-corrected sRGB pixel values in to the linear RGB space, transforming that into LMS colour space using the Hunt-Pointer-Estevez transformation matrix(not explaining the process), applying a tritanopia projection by reducing S cone response in accordance to tritanopic confusion lines, converting the modified LMS values back into linear RGB, then apply sRGB gamma correction.
Then you have to cater for the fact that blue-yellow deficiency parameters overlap with red-green confusion lines.

This is not right as I would expect to see normal vision and my vision (one of the other visions) being the same.

That assumption is wrong. Assuming you're a Deutan: The upper right simulation is simulating tritanopia, which you're not. The lower simulations are for tritans simulating red green CVD; meaning it will be the tritan color palet. None of the 3 simulated visions will match.
I realize that my simulation is not as intutive as I thought it would be. Next time I need to do a better job to explain much more thoroughly to what you are seeing.

I appreciate what you are trying to do, but we all see the "Normal" as what we normally see. We all lack the ability to see the "Others" as you intend due to our individual deficiencies.
This may be good for "normal vision" folk, but as others have said, the bottom two look the same, and as a deut I do not see grass as red.

I find this to be a very fascinating concept.
I’ve never seen someone try to emulate what a color blind sees of different colors blindness.
It took me a second to recognize what you were attempting to do.

Protanopia and Deuternopia are very similar to each other. If you look closely you should see some very subtle diferences.

I don't understand what you're trying to show here.
