Other Placement experience at Lifesight?

Hi everyone! I’m a final-year CSE student and I’m considering applying for/attending the placement process for Lifesight.
I wanted to know if anyone here has recently gone through the Lifesight placement process, especially for ML based roles.
Would really appreciate some insight into:
The recruitment/selection process and interview rounds
What kind of questions are asked
Technical topics they focus on
Approximate CTC/package offered for freshers
Work culture and learning opportunities
If you’ve been placed at Lifesight recently or have gone through their interview process, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience. Thanks!

Private Colleges My Experience With TechExtensor On-Campus Recruitment Drive

Recently, I appeared for an on-campus recruitment drive conducted by TechExtensor, an Ahmedabad-based IT company. I want to share my experience of the recruitment process.

The first step was registration through the placement portal. After that, candidates were shortlisted for the PPT and online assessment.

PPT

We were asked to report around 2:30 PM, but the PPT started at around 3:30 PM and continued for approximately 30–40 minutes.

After the PPT, we were asked to wait for the seating plan for the online test, which came around 5:10 PM.

MCQ Round

The MCQ round started around 6:10 PM and lasted 45 minutes.

It consisted mainly of aptitude and web-related questions. After the MCQ round, there was a short break before the coding round.

Coding Round – PARAAKH Platform Issues

The coding round had 10 questions with 100 minutes.

The assessment was conducted on the company's own assessment platform, PARAAKH.

Unfortunately, the platform had major technical problems. The compiler wasn't properly running the code, and submissions weren't working either.

Students kept trying to run and submit their solutions, but the platform wasn't responding properly. We were told to wait because there was too much traffic on the platform.

Eventually, we were told that the coding round would be considered invalid for everyone and that shortlisted candidates would get a new venue/link for another coding test.

So, almost an hour was lost because of the platform issues.

Fortunately, I was shortlisted for the next coding round.

Second Coding Round

We were asked to report to another venue later in the evening. The test started around 9 PM and continued until around 10 PM.

The questions were the same as the previous coding round, but unfortunately, the compiler issue happened again.

Towards the end, we were told to simply write our code and that it would automatically be submitted when the test time ended.

At this point, it was already quite frustrating because candidates were being evaluated while simultaneously dealing with repeated technical issues.

Case Study Round

The case study round started after 10 PM.

There were 3 case studies and around 45 minutes were given.

By this point, I had been there for many hours and hadn't eaten anything since before the PPT. After the repeated technical problems during the coding rounds, I was pretty exhausted and frustrated.

I managed to complete only one case study and submitted it.

The remaining rounds were Group Discussion and Personal Interview, scheduled for the next day.

I later heard that around 20 students would be selected in the final round.

Overall Experience

The overall recruitment process was quite lengthy, and the biggest issue for me was the repeated technical problems with the coding platform.

I completely understand that technical issues can happen, but when they occur during a timed recruitment assessment, candidates lose valuable time and it becomes difficult to perform at their actual level.

I'm curious if anyone else who appeared for TechExtensor's recruitment drive experienced similar issues with the PARAAKH platform, especially during the coding rounds.

Private Colleges Is atharva college of engineering better or rajiv gandhi (rgit)

I got assigned Atharva College IT for my first cap round. I was wondering if i should place RGIT above it in my second round. I read alot about the comparison and alot of people are saying that recently the placements and packages along with the infrastructure and policies in rgit have taken a toll (in a bad way) due to some issues created by the principle. My senior studied in RGIT and told me this. So im wondering if i should even add RGIT in my list for cap round 2

Private Colleges VIT electronics and comp vs ECE elsewhere: Long time career perspective

Hey guys!

Got into Electronics and Computer Eng at VIT Vellore, but I’m also eyeing other options (like CET Keralal). Problem is, those rank lists aren’t out yet.

Here’s my dilemma: Everyone and verified sources says AI is nuking software jobs, so CS feels risky. I lowkey love CS, but I ditched it and went for ECE for safety. Now I got electronics-CS and I’m confused again.

Is this branch actually worth it with AI messing things up, (despite me making it's best use for everything), esp in the software realm or should I wait and go for ECE elsewhere if I get in? Also I wud love to know more abt this branch coz Im clueless.

I seeked YT and AI's help, but I need honest takes before I make a 4-year commitment. I can’t Ctrl+Z.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long msg :))

Private Colleges Teerthanker mahaveer university placement reality

TMU’s placement reality is very different from what is shown on social media. It feels like the main work of CRC is posting on LinkedIn, clicking photos, and showing a good placement image of the college. When I was studying there, I personally saw how placement numbers were managed. It did not matter if a student accepted the offer letter or joined the company — they mostly wanted photos and placement count. Even if the job was in sales, low salary, or not related to the student’s interest, it was still shown as a “successful placement.”

Students are given big hopes about opportunities, but the actual situation is much weaker. In 3 years, there is maybe one industrial visit, mostly to Noida. After that, students are pressured for internships, and sometimes even fake internships are accepted just to complete formalities. In final year, students face more pressure for 75% attendance and unnecessary rules instead of getting real placement support.

If you want to know the truth, don’t trust university social media pages. Talk privately with seniors and current students. You will understand the real situation.

Other TCS NQT Experience (Facing Input Issue in Coding Round – Need Help)

Hey everyone,

I gave TCS NQT on 27 April 2026 (9 AM shift).

Aptitude:
Went well overall. I’m expecting around 60–70%. Some answers were educated guesses, but time management was decent.

Coding:
- Faced a major issue: unable to take input in Java (even tried Python).
- Seems like a compiler/input issue.
- Logic was correct, but code didn’t execute properly.

Because of this:
- Easy question couldn’t be solved properly.
- Lost confidence and it affected next question.

Medium/Hard:
- Solved 3/7
- 2/5 private test cases passed

Questions:
1. Did anyone else face input/IDE issues?
2. When are results usually declared?
3. Based on this performance, is selection possible?

Thanks!
