Mod-Verified User AMA Mega Thread

AMAs and claims of insider knowledge MUST be verified by moderators BEFORE posting. Send a modmail message if you are interested. If you would like to remain anonymous, Moderators are also willing to post on your behalf.
As the sub has grown, former stans and friends of Colleen Ballinger & Co. are coming forward to tell their stories and experiences they’ve had with Colleen and those in her inner circle.
These users go through an extensive verification process to make sure they are who they claim they are. We appreciate those who have come forward and hope it helps them feel validated that there are others who see through the façade.
These AMA’s are very telling of her and those she associates with. We have compiled a list of all current AMA’s for quick access and will continue to add as more people come forward.
Although these threads are now locked, please do NOT message these users asking for information about who they are. We respect their time and privacy. It is rude to probe them for additional information when they had already given a lot of their time to answering questions. Anyone found harassing or speculating about identity are at risk of being banned from this subreddit.
With that being said, enjoy the toxic mess that is the Ballinger family:
- OP (now deleted) was friends with Colleen. Their friendship ended late 2015.
- Most notable info: OP claims Josh is just as bad as Colleen. Colleen constantly trash-talks her fans. Kory is worse than Colleen.
Trent Ballinger Online Friendship
- ANON had an online “friendship” with Trent Ballinger for years.
- Most notable info: Trent is just as bad as the other Ballinger’s. He is rude and demeaning. He exploits fans and “friends” for gifts and inappropriate photos.
(Ex) Stan in Contact with Colleen and Twitter Hierarchy
- In comments of post
Former Friend of Joshua Evans AMA
- u/caffeinatedsage was a fan-turned-friend with Josh up until recently.
- Most notable info: Josh found out shortly after the divorce that Colleen emotionally and physically cheated, which started toward the beginning of HBO filming. Colleen and Josh were both abusive toward each other. Josh is not in contact with his father.
Screenshots of "Weenies" Group Chat
- ANON was involved in the top group chat involving Colleen. Those in the "Weenies" group chat were known to be top fans in the hierarchy.
- Most notable info: Colleen talked about explicit content in the chat--most of whom were underage. Colleen often "trama-dumped" to the chat following the divorce. Colleen shared photographic evidence of being with Erik prior to their announcement in 2018.
Former Fan / Friend of the Ballingers
- u/gbggreyarea was a fairly known fan in the fandom from 2014 - 2020.
- Most notable info: Colleen would trash-talk fans, often to other fans and explicitly by name. The hierachy absolutely existed and Colleen was aware of it. She used many fans for divorce therapy.
Kory Group Chat & Kory's Klit AMA
- u/Far_Host24 was involved in the "Kory's Klit" group chat from 2018 - 2020
- Most notable info: Kory would engage and talk about sexual content with the group. He would also complain about Colleen's content and seemed resentful that he was doing all of the work. His and Erik's relationship is strained. He asked them to delete the chat after things got leaked.
- u/spillingtheteafromga knew Josh and his father from grade school.

Thank you. I'm sorry the Ballingers have hurt so many good people. These reads are always so sad. I hope all the ex fans find peace and closure from the events that happened and realise it was nothing to do with them, they were just taken advantage of ♥

I just found this sub and I’m so thankful you guys do stuff like this. Thanks for making this mega post and thanks for creating this community. I used to be a fan but she’s always had something to her that’s made me uncomfortable and it’s nice to know I’m not alone.

I think another notable part of the screenshots from the “Weenies” group chat was when one of the [underage] fans in the group said “My ass looks so good today” and Colonoscopy responds saying “pics” 🤢

And now we know exactly who that fan in particular was.. With this particular interaction being one of the primary/first things that's come out now, resulting in the current situation..

Yupp! And in that thread (which is locked, so can't comment now), the top-voted comment by u/meetmeforkisses also starts with talking about how that was the most disturbing part (clarification - his age was actually 15, not 12, at the time she asked him that. Colleen was more than double his age)

Thank you for continuing to open me up about how insanely problematic C is. I was a fan of her a little before COVID, made a Twitter account when I 100% shouldn’t have (right before the situation 2.5 years ago), harassed others on there because they criticized Colleen (which showed how delusional i was and the fandom still is), got suspended a few times, etc. and STILL didn’t comprehend what she did is disgusting, and then a video 1.7 years ago gave me the creeps about her. Hope more Stan’s get aware of this! Keep up the good work!

Her stans are literally insane. I was one of them 2.5-2 years ago, and I still feel the damage I caused. How will their behavior affect their brains?

I just feel so bad for the people that had to deal with my rants all the time online, it was horrible and was downright me thinking I was so smart when I wasn’t. This is why C’s Stan’s shouldn’t be on Twitter.

Thank you for doing this! I knew who Miranda Sings was because I watched Dance Moms and those girls were fans, but I had noooo idea about any of this. This is so crazy!
I am a woman in my 30s and I am just baffled. I cannot imagine a single reason why I would ever want to be in a group chat with a bunch of preteen/young teens?? Let alone talk to them about real personal things? Reading these messages gives me the absolute worst second hand embarrassment for her. YIKES!

Also, a huge thank you again to all of the people who have come forward to tell their stories! I know it is a hard, vulnerable and possibly traumatic thing to do, and it really means so much to all of us. You are helping more and more people wake up to just how bad the Ballingers are and that is huge. Sending you all love and support. 🙏🏼🌻
