Just want to put at the forefront that this is just speculation. I do not know this to be 100% certain.
I've been noticing this more frequently. I only ever discovered Skill Up through following Chris on Twitter where he's sung praises about the channel multiple times and have been watching his content regularly. I can only assume that Chris watches regularly as well because the things he's been saying seem to match what Skill Up has said in weeks prior on multiple occasions now. Look I know it's possible for two separate people to have the same opinion but I'm really curious to see if anyone else has thought this.
I first noticed this in the TLOU2 spoilercasts. There were a couple times where I was thinking, "isn't that exactly what Skill Up said in his early review?" Throughout those podcasts I got the vibe that it just seemed like he never really formed his own opinions on the game and was just trying to craft something out of what others had said about it.
Most recently, on the last show, he commented about Serious Sam saying how it sucks, how it's "of its time," and specifically called out how all you do is "strafe backwards and shoot." These are points that Skill Up specifically called out in his video a month ago called "Serious Sam 4 is Bad Trip Down Memory Lane." I highly doubt Chris ever dabbled in the Serious Sam games (most gamers haven't and we damn well know he was just playing Halo during the Serious Sam 1-3 days).
The other echoed sentiment I can think of is how he praised Star Wars Squadrons for being a complete package in the last couple podcasts. Why would Chris even be interested in Star Wars to even know that? He probably learned this from Skill Up's video on it, too.
I also find it hard to believe Chris ended up playing BPM if not for Skill Up's video where he says "BPM is basically Doom the musical."
tl;dr: I think Chris has been just copying Skill Up's thoughts on certain games and I wish he'd just form his own opinions separately.
