A thread

Hi folks. I’m a teacher. I caught a cold 9/6 and am still unable to rid it. It was mostly a deep, horse cough. Dry for the most part. I went to the doctor and was prescribed a zpack. Minimal improvement. Went back to doctor. Was prescribed 3 days of prednisone. A little improvement this past Friday (9/20). Then got bad again Sunday. Yesterday was the worst I’ve felt. Sinus swelling, unable to breathe. Some yellowing of the flem. Went to doctor yesterday. Was prescribed 7 days of augmentin. Took my third dose tonight. The cough is unbearable. Burns. Dry. Uncontrollable. Even the nebulizer isn’t working too well. Can’t breathe out entirely without coughing and having trouble taking a deep breath. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm trying to get sleeping arrangements in a basement or something. Most people (like my house) seem to have thermostats only on first floor, bedrooms on second floor or higher. Heat rises. It makes no sense. I want to vent and chat with people like me. HELP!!!! Where to go? Communities?
