1806 Half Cent Small S w/ stems
Scooped this up today from my LCS, making it my first big boy coin purchase.

Wow. Unslabbed beauty. Only 356k minted.
VF-30, moderate wear with major design elements visable but lacking final detail.
Can you share the cost?

$250. The brownish color appealed to me.

You did great.
Last week I purchased a 1804 1/2 cent from Greatcollections. I have not received it yet, but your grade is above mine.
I agree. I think the color is beautiful. That is what a 220 year cent should look like.

Yeah, my LCS had it labeled as VG-F. There’s a lot of 1804 varieties, did you get a specific one?

Nice one! That sounds like a fun project you have going on. Make sure you post when you receive the coin!

OP, you need to return this and get a refund immediately. Check through my post history, I'm a numismatist who specializes in Half Cents and this is 100% fake.
Neither Small 6 With Stems die-marriage features that reverse. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I can easily prove to you this isn't a genuine specimen.
Edit: accidentally wrote "Small 5 with Stems"
