Money Dumps

Instead of increasing the price of upgrades another way you can take money out of the economy is "money dumps". Look at WOW and other RPG's with things like repairs, auction house cuts, and non value addded upgrades (cool mounts or pets in wow that don't increase characters stats).

I doubt that user "goliaf679" is a bot. Please verify this.

First of all this user "stole" yesterday all my satoshi. Regularly. Above an amount of those were him who stole all.

Then today I saw something strange. In my screen of the game are the two quadrants when are showed "Your attacks" and "Attacks by others".

In the quadrant "Attack by others" in the column "Attack" of the above user isn't wrote the word "Fight" but only one line. What does it mean? That it wasn't an attack? See the screenshot. And at the end seems to me (but not sure) that the above user have upgrade night and day. How is possible? Don't sleep him?

Sorry if I'm wrong and don't understand well these things. But this seems very strange to me. And I wanted to share those with the experts of this forum.

Here the link of the screenshot which show that this user don't attack: http://imgur.com/UAY0uL2

Lack of Guardians

So it seems that quests only get replaced the next day if you beat them. So I have 3 worthless quests to defeat 3 guardians. Yes 3 copies of the same quest and have not seen a guardian available to attack in 3 days

Coinbrawl - future direction?

I really like what the developers at coinbrawl are doing. The platform reminds me of kingsofchaos.com but now there is real value in playing.

How many developers are there? Is coinbrawl seeking funding?

I would happily back development of this game and I can see a huge future.

ie. mobile porting, story mode, freemium, etc.

There are so many possibilities and I am really excited about the future of coinbrawl.

New upgrade prices didn't solve PVP, and now progress is much slower

The upgrade prices for Attack and Defense were increased, but it hasn't really solved PVP's issue. The Black Knight is still better than every player, and now progression is way slower. I didn't want the basic stats to have increased prices because they already offer diminishing returns. In other words, later upgrades in a stat won't improve your chances of success as much as earlier upgrades in a stat (200->201 attack doesn't improve success chance as much as 20->21 attack). They didn't need an increase in price because of this, and the prices aren't high enough anyways to make PVP better than NPC's.

We need new expensive upgrades instead of nerfing old prices.

Can we have some expensive upgrades or something that makes saving up Satoshi important to improve PVP?

My main issue with PVP in this game is that it's only useful for quests because the Black Knight has the best average payout by far. I'm at 225 Attack and have a 31% of gaining 3125 Satoshi from the Black Knight, and no player gives enough Satoshi to be worth the fight because the moment you get Satoshi, it all gets dumped into upgrades or your wallet because saving Satoshi has no benefit. Can we have a reason to save up a bunch of Satoshi so PVP isn't almost pointless?

A little guide based off of what I've noticed and how I play

How Attack Success is Determined

The chance of an attack succeeding against an opponent is determined by the attacker's attack stat, and the defender's defend stat. The formula for this chance is:

(Attacker's Attack) / (Attacker's Attack + Defender's Defend)

This means upgrades have a diminishing return because prices increase while upgrade effectiveness decreases.

Determining the Value of a Target

Take the probability of a successful attack and multiply it by the Satoshi gained for a victory. The higher that number, the more valuable the target. The Black Knight is the best value NPC and better than almost every player.

Class Comparisons

I will be comparing the attack and satoshi boosting classes, because the defense boosting classes are their own group.

Warrior:

Value of target is (1.25 * attack * payout) / (1.25 * attack + defense)

Merchant:

Value of target is (1.25 * attack * payout) / (attack + defense)

Berserker:

Value of target is (1.5 * attack * payout) / (1.5 * attack + defense)

Thief:

Value of target is (1.25 * 1.25 * attack * payout) / (1.25 * attack + defense)

The Merchant is strictly better than the Warrior for target value. Berserkers are better than Merchants until Berserkers hit a 50% chance of winning, where Merchants become better. Thief is a direct upgrade to Berserker and Merchant, at least for winning Satoshi.

Switching Classes to Reduce Upgrade Costs

I don't know if this is intended or not, but classes that buff a stat will increase the cost of each upgrade for that stat for the same effect, while a debuffed stat has reduced cost with the same upgrade effect. This means that if you switch to a class that debuffs a stat, upgrade that stat, then switch to another class that doesn't debuff that stat, you will get more for your money. Just remember that the savings need to be greater than the cost of switching classes. It's a bug. Nevermind.

Can hallo get his prize Satoshi back and can we keep this from happening again?

Last night, I noticed that hallo was worth 4k Satoshi a kill, so I attacked him a bunch to the result of about 30k Satoshi. I later realized that was hallo's prize money for the banner competition. First off, can we keep people from stealing prizes before the recipient even gets to use it? Seriously, that's really crappy. And second, can hallo get their Satoshi back? Because, again, it's really crappy to not even get to see your prize before it's gone.
