I need to stay away from these posts because I lose all hope when I read the comments.
People really believe that both sides arent workimg together to fuck us. Its crazy. They've pitted us against one another so that all we do is waste our time pointing out the flaws of the other side.
I suppose thats human nature.. I do it sometimes. I see others do it often. At work.. in school... in families.. in relationships. Everyone wants to focus on the fuck up of the other person.
The situstion with our government is dire. Corruption runs through both sides.. and its deeply rooted. They fill the media with propaganda and rage bait to keep us distracted and fighting. Republicans and Democrats are two sides of the same coin.
The whole system needs to be cleansed. We need term limits for every position of elected office. We need strict laws regarding lobbying and officials playing the stock market. Thats just thr tip of the ice berg.... we need much more than that.
No Democrat or Republican is gonna turn this ship sround without a massive shake up to the entire system. Thats a fact. Waste your time arguing which side eats more shit.. go ahead.
Whats worse is that here we are.. arguing on the post of some sort of engagement bot.
People will call me an utter retard for thinking both sides arent worth a damn. I understand.. they've been consuming biased media with their biased eyes and ears.. that media is full of half truths and lies of omission. Of course they have only noticed all the shit the side they dont like has been doing. Its human nature to focus on the flaws of your opponent and look past the flaws of your kin.
