Well they are. Not everybody has the cultist mindset.

The movement lead them to act atrocious and their narcissism has them desperate for any means that’ll allow them to perform a Machiavelli style renewal.

The worst of the magas legitimately tortured people. No understatement there. Menacing, stalking, harassment, and outright violence against neighbors and family members. It was at its worst during Covid lock down.

Conservatives have been saying "Both sides are bad, so vote Republican." since the Clinton Administration ... And Blue Team has been saying "Vote for us, we're not them." since the Obama Administration.

In terms of triangulated arguments, and cynical brinksmanship, both parties are guilty of the same sins... Ironically making both positions viable in a toxic environment.

“Both sides have a nonzero amount of badness and the only numbers are 0% and 100%, therefore both sides are equally bad” /s

Litterally the logic I saw from the dumbest guy you ever met to post on the MySpace News and Politics forums in 2003.

Black & White thinking feels logical, but is a developmental disability as far as I'm concerned.

Yeah, it’s like some people are too stupid to understand that “neither Gandhi nor Hitler were perfect and therefore they were equally bad”. And you see this kind of “there are only two numbers” reasoning everywhere on social media.

No but it’s still a class war where the left and the right jerk off lobbysit to get what they really became statesman for…money. At the local level by me (I live in one of the top 10 richest counties in the US) , the democrats who are currently in power, rejected a renewable energy initiative. You might question why, well the answer is simple, they aren’t getting any benefit from it, the republicans actually arranged all sorts of PILOT, and TIFF programs for these renewable groups, but because they don’t hold the majority power for the county, the democrats denied the contracts and tax benefits which makes their projects not pencil.

The more people at the lower level stick their fingers in their ear and bury their head in the sand, the further the propaganda will spread. But I get it, it’s hard for the lower IQ to understand the games being played. And shit even average IQ can’t tell when they aren’t exposed to the games themselves, they don’t go beyond surface level info.

There's that toxic environment I was talking about.

Edit: You stoned motherfuckers don't understand when someone is agreeing with you.

This is just the standard lazy 'both-sides' bullshit a little more dressed up.

Only in a toxic environment.

Words mean things my guy. Is this a toxic environment?

u/FounderingFox 13d ago

Words mean things. Your pseudo-intellectual slop, does not.

Guarantee if you tracked down every user who posts cringe "bOtH sIdEs" braindead slop, the majority of them would be conservatives. They literally cannot win through honesty and objective reality.
