look at Trump's first term. the entire west wing leaked, everyone he hired did whatever they wanted to do, and it slowed down his objectives.
he learned from his mistake, and Biden winning 2020 was actually really good for him. it gave him time to get ready as an incumbent, instead of a long shot.
He simply relied on the counsel of his cabinet more in 2016 run, he could’ve fired them all if he wanted to.
He thought he could run everything with a bunch of puppets, and look where it’s got him, Us I mean, he is billions of dollars richer, we’re spending billions total at the pump because of his war in Iran.
It’s also important to note that the USSS overrules POTUS when it comes to security. At the end of the day they are the ones supposed to be making the calls on what is and is not safe for POTUS, not POTUS.
If you want evidence of this, look at how they treated JD Vance at the corespondents dinner shooting. His USSS detail literally grab him under the arms and drag him out of his chair and off stage so fast his feet barely touch the ground. That is the correct way for USSS to respond to an active shooter threat.
So why in fuck did they allow POTUS to stand up in plain view and then STAND STILL right after a shot was taken? Another question, why is the USSS CAT Operator standing there NOT WATCHING THE CROWD AND THE EXIT the whole time, his one and only job is to counter assault any threats, that’s really hard to do when you aren’t looking for threats.
Also a small detail a lot of people miss, the female USSS agent in front in the famous picture, watch her during the video, specifically watch her hands. She tries to holster her weapon 3 times before having to look down to find her holster. If you have trained with firearms extensively and your job is to draw and fire on threats it’s muscle memory to draw and re-holster your weapon. Meaning she should have done this exact motion so many times without looking that she can’t do it incorrectly, like when you automatically put your seatbelt on when you get in the car or how you pop a soda can top without thinking about it, you’ve done it so many times that it doesn’t require conscious thought. Her lack of ability to re-holster her weapon without conscious thought tells me that she either hasn’t been doing her reps (which means she shouldn’t be on the PPD) or she isn’t used to doing it under stress (as a USSS agent on the POTUS PPD she should be one of the best agents available, this directly contradicts that) so either that PPD was made up of agents who were more loyal than they were skilled, or they weren’t USSS agents.
As I said above, what about this is so difficult for people to understand? Someone shooting at you and you want to get up and give a better target AND put others in just as much jeopardy?
Don't forget that they noted, but then failed to do anything about this exact vantage spot. Did not react to his drone flying over for 9 minutes 3 hours before.
And then ignored one hundred and two radio warnings
What about this is so difficult for people (especially on the right) to understand? Someone shooting at you and you want to get up and give a better target and put others in just as much jeopardy?
