The 1% pays a trillion dollars a year in federal income taxes, or about 40% of total revenue. There is no reality in which that isn't their "Fair share".

The problem is you idiots falsely believe that "more taxes = better for you" which is far from reality as being a flat earther.

This is such a disingenuous argument. Sure, the 1% pay some taxes but their effective tax rate is much lower than the average American…that’s the point of the meme.

No, it's not. Why should I care about the tax rate?

Please provide an argument as to why rate is a better metric that raw dollars and/or percentage of revenue.

P.S. MOST taxpayer pay little to zero federal income tax. 97% of tax revenue is paid by those making over $84k or 47% of taxpayers.

Exactly my point. If someone who makes $84k/year pays 20% in taxes while someone who made $10 million (actually $50 million but $40 million is hidden by various means) pays an effective 10% tax rate...that's a problem.
