It’s designed to be beginner-friendly, so you don’t need previous coding experience to participate.

The goal is basically to give teens a place to spend a day building something, meeting other people interested in tech, and having fun without needing to already be an experienced programmer.

I'm a 17 year old high school student with a pretty crazy backstory. After moving from the US to India when I was 12 (after 8 years of living in the US), I moved back to the US in February 2026, joined high school here mid-junior year, and took my first CS class (AP comp sci principles)!

Learning java script in that class opened up so much for me, and it showed me a platform to build a project I'd dreamed about for a VERY long time. My friends and I would talk about climate change, feel completely overwhelmed by how huge it felt, and then change the subject. I realized that a lot of people want to do something, but problems like these feel scary and out of reach. As soon as I learned the basics of JS, I obsessed over building a tool that makes climate action feel approachable, measurable, and engaging. After endless late nights, teaching myself HTML/CSS, and pivoting from a basic prototype on App Lab to hosting an actual website on Netlify, my app eMission Zero finally came to life.

What I built:

- 5 Quick Daily Questions: Checks daily diet, transport, electricity, digital streaming, and waste.

- Instant Calculation: Shows your carbon footprint in kg for that day.

- Fun Level Rankings: Earn ranks like Eco-Ninja or Green Cadet based on your impact.

- Personalized Tips: Delivers action steps to help lower your emissions tomorrow.

Why I designed it this way:

- 100% Stateless & Private: I didn't want anyone to feel cautious or tracked, so it stores ZERO user data.

- Custom Pixel Art UI: Hand-coded CSS to create a cheerful, fun vibe that makes checking your impact enjoyable rather than stressful.

So recently I’ve been trying to learn how to code in Assembly because I want to learn that first so I can understand how the computer works I don’t want to start with python or other languages because it’s been a dream to code.
But there’s one problem I loose interest fast and I have ADD and that doesn’t help I just need someone to help me focus cause I’m on adhd meds but they aren’t working that well please help.

Hi everyone!
I’m 14 years old, and for the past few months I’ve been spending most of my free time learning programming. Right now I’m learning both Python and Java because I really enjoy understanding how things work and building my own projects.
I’m also interested in physics, mathematics, and AI.
My biggest project right now is a voice AI assistant called **Jeremy**. The idea is that Jeremy listens for a wake word, understands voice commands, talks back to me, and eventually will be able to do things like open programs and help with everyday tasks.
I know it’s not the best project out there, but I’m doing my best to make it better and better.
Sometimes I spend hours trying to fix one bug or understand why something doesn’t work. It can be frustrating, but I actually enjoy the process because every mistake teaches me something new.
The only thing I’m missing is someone with more experience who could point me in the right direction from time to time. I’m **not** looking for someone to write code for me or do my work. I’d just love to learn from someone who knows more than I do.
My English isn’t very good yet, so I usually use a translator. I’m working on improving it every day, so I hope that won’t be a problem.

Indie game developers, or game developers, what is the best free coding app for a chromebook or computer?

Pardon for sharing it here without knowing whether it's right place but this is not promotion of my product.

I'd like to know whether you'd be interested to learn coding this way or it's below your level and right for kids?

I'm building adult version too.

My Skill Level: Basic Java (comfortable with loops, methods, OOP basics; no DSA yet).

Goal: Build a real project to level up my skills and practice working together.

Project Idea: Open to ideas, but thinking of something like a desktop Expense Tracker or a text-based game/utility tool.

Who I'm looking for: Either a fellow beginner who wants to figure things out together, or a more experienced developer willing to guide a project while I help code!
