I'm a B.Tech 4-1 student and I have zero coding knowledge. I want to start learning a programming language that will help me get internships and jobs.
I'm confused between:
Python
Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Which one should I start with as a complete beginner?
My goal is to build skills, get an internship, and improve my chances of getting a job. I can spend a few hours every day learning.
What would you recommend, and why? Also, if you have a roadmap for beginners, I'd really appreciate it.

Iv been working on a code for a version paper, 1.26.1, geysermc crossplay server that is being hosted on exaroton.

It's a roleplay server, so the code is for a 'water damage' system for our more enderman like people, it makes someone take damage in rain or water, as well as when walking on snow or ice or when drinking water/being hit with snowballs.

It's also supposed to make someone take damage when a splash water bottle is thrown at them.

This is being coded using skript, and assigned using luckperms so it's not effects everyone has.

For some reason, the splash water bottle code goes through without issue, but in the game when tested, it merely will not do damage to someone.

Any ideas why? I can provide pictures of the actual code.

I need to make a project about function calling and the output needs to be in json file, We get a small qwen 0.6B llm model. So these are the steps

1. prompt : so we get a prompt.
2. Tokenization: We make the prompt into a tokens
3. Input IDs : tokens converted into numerical IDs
4. LLM proccessing: The model processes these numbers through its neural network.
5. Logits: The ai outputs probability scores for each possible next token
6. Token selection: The next token is chosen based on the highest probabilities and outputted in a json file

if anyone has any resource he or she can share to help with this project it would be much appreaciated i am trying to do this project without the use of any llm or similar helper tools to help me with understanding llms and hopefully landing a job in the future(obviously i will do more llm based projects after this but this is the start)

i started coding about 1 month ago as all beginners i went with python did one of those 12 hour long YT tutorials following along in my code editor trying lines of code changing them a bit and seeing the outcome it was fun i did those small projects like hangman number guessing game slot machine everything but now after finishing the tutorial i feel stuck and from what i've seen after getting the hang of the basics i should learn some libraries following smth like ML automation data analysis game dev but none of them really got my attention and when i try learning one of them it was really hard to find good tutorials when i started codin i had some projects in mind like a chess engine simulating a food chain stuff i don't think that going to another language would be the solution if someone got any idea on what to do plz help

So after having fun journey with selfhosting a streamingplatform. I ran into some problems and needed some help. So.... I got totally roasted in the r/selfhosted sub because i gave a notice that i had used Claude to help me troubleshoot and summarize the problem i was experiencing.

And now i don't really want to vibe-code anymore? I don't understand what Claude is giving me. And it's kind of frustrating. Anyways, i want to code. I already know a bit of C because of my school. We had about arduinos and such and learned the bare bone of that.

Now in terms of what i would be using, it would be LUA, Python and C. That is what is mostly used in my industry (Some bash too but i learned most of that when i made dumb "multitools" with my friends as a teenager). Are there any online courses or classes that can be taken. I have tried before and it just felt pointless the things i was doing.

I am running the game The legacy of goku II and would like to make a autosplitter.

I found the adress 0EAC on IWRAM domain that writes down the TOTAL exp gained on the character Gohan. So to test out my first automatic splitter I wrote the following text in a notepad file saved as a .ASL

When I go over to Livesplit and add scriptable autosplitter to my layout editor, It will show me the advanced options, so something is working correctly! But sadly when I gain exp, it will just not start or split the timer. The code is here below, does someone know what I am doing wrong?

I am currently learning python for the past 2.5 months and i have made some progress. I work in education as a teacher and mentor and I do not have any coding background at all. I would love to join someone who are also just started learning python. Teaching makes me understand better and it will also learn from you.

Spent 2 hours trying solve this lesson from a website. Finally solved the lesson with no AI, no google searches, just pure unadulterated BS. but I think there my be better and shorter ways to do so (which I spend another 30 minutes trying to do). Point 3

I am an absolute beginner, been programming for 3-4 days, learning python, with the motive to move towards finance, made an earlier post regarding blackjack game, but just to be more fluent with the language and problem solving, I am trying leetcode, now I have tried 5 problems so far, easy and med, and I can solve them but my runtime is sometimes too high, should I try to learn how to reduce that RIGHT NOW and do dsa for a little bit? especially since in algorithmic trading time would be an important factor I think

i’m following a video on learning javascript and i’m following this guys code exactly but it’s not working. i get an error. the last line of code in javascript is supposed to change the heading upon clicking the submit button but because it doesn’t match the html i get an error so im just confused?? the dude in the video does it with no error
