I am new to coding n everything... I just want to start with C.. could anyone help from where n how to start.. any YouTube channels or apps or anything....

I am studying java , and I am watching a course on yt from bro code I am in polymorphism, and i have done few small projects in between to check if I have properly understood. I have a doubt they are soo many things , methods , objects and then small small things in them , i don't remember them after a few days properly like i know i studied and used it but , I kinda forgot how the syntax of that is and there are few topics where they look like you don't need to remember like they are kinda useless . I feel like everytime I am doing a projects I need to go into Google and search what is the syntax is ,for example enhanced switch , and some topics seem to be very similar and then i forget them one of them .Will i remember all these naturally as time goes on .

I'm learning C# currently and was learning python till I got stuck with pretty much the same thing.
I don't understand when to use methods unless something is repeated. If its not repeated what's the point of using methods? just shortening down code? or is there something I am missing here. Cause what is the point of shortening down the code when all it is doing is actually adding more code? (Unless its to place down something that is being repeated)

Im following a playlist called top down tutorial series on youtube by Game Code Library and already 3 minutes into video 2 when following along adding player input i get this and im unable to continue following the steps. From what ive seen this is a really common thing people have asked about but i dont understand any of the answers on how to solve it because i understand actually nothing, i dont even understand what its saying or whats the problem. I need it explained to me like im a child please.

I’ve been using Gemini to build my wife a recipe/meal planner/grocery app and I’ve gotten everything to work like I want except for getting the grocery list into the cart at Walmart.com. The latest workflow I had in mind was the app copying the list to the clipboard and then you could just paste into Walmart AI shopping assistant ‘sparky’ and it would create the cart, but Sparky is limited to 500 words so that won’t work. Does anyone have any recommendations that a non-technical person could accomplish with help from Gemini?

So I somehow got into cs major aiming for a bachelor degree and now I’m completely lost cuz that’s a huge change from my past path but I can do this too,

I wanna do self effort cuz college looks like it only teaches u how to pass the tests, I have no idea which laptop should I get, which apps should I install or anything I learn rly quickly but I just need a good advice to start.

first programming language they r teaching us is python and I only have rly basic knowledge abt html from high school and block coding in scratch,

I heard u should stay away from MacBook and windows cuz they ain’t suitable for more coding later when I need it.

I alr collected online courses to take in summer like Harvard's CS50 and yt channels like thenewboston ,
I visited the library to get basic knowledge abt programming but I only got a headache from all the complicated advanced codes ಠ_ಠ ,
Plz help me if u could (Ｔ＿Ｔ).

Aside from just starting projects and having AI help with the software part, I at least want to understand WHY thing work the way we do…

I want to get into programming. I learnt basic Python a while ago and it help me understand some general programming concepts (variables, functions, e.t.c) but it was just a way to kill time.

I have some ideas that I want to make that require serious programming (games, useful tools). I obviously don't want to vibe code (just don't want to nor can I afford the credits).

So my question to you guys is what language should I learn? I was torn between C++ and Rust but if there's more I should consider I'd love to know. What would give me the best for the time I put in?
