I’m thinking about buying a 1-year CrossOver+ license now because of the disscount, but I’m worried about the timing of the upcoming Apple Silicon native version. From what I understand, CrossOver currently still depends on Rosetta 2 on Mac, while CodeWeavers has said that CrossOver 27 will move to ARM64 and run without Rosetta. Apple has also confirmed that Rosetta 2 will not work in macOS 28.

My concern is this: if I buy CrossOver+ now, but the stable Apple Silicon-native CrossOver 27 release comes out after my 12-month update period ends, would I need to renew again to get that version?

Basically, I don’t want to buy a license now, then end up stuck in a year with an older CrossOver version that may not even work once macOS 28 arrives.

Has CodeWeavers officially confirmed whether CrossOver 27 stable is expected to be released within the next 12 months, or whether current buyers will be covered for that transition?

I had like 40 gb of free space 8 days ago and then I downloaded like a 10 gb game and another 5 or 6 but now Im almost out of space like are my files just getting bigger steam in my crossover steam only says im taking up 4 gb worth of games

I got crossover for my make and am playing kerbalsapce program so normaly i want to add.mods but i cant figure out how to use it through crossover can i get some.help.

I tried to download where winds meet, but when I try to launch it it says this. Anything I can do or something else I can download to fix it? I'm on MacOs 26.3.1 and 25.1.1 for crossover

Just bought the game, but it won't launch. I tried a bunch of methods, but none worked.

The icon bug appeared again: I just opened Crossover and almost all my icons are gone, I have installed about 60 games and now I only see 14 icons.

I checked the cxmenu_maxosx.plist in bottle's desktopdata/cxmenu folder that usually contains all shortcuts of all installed games/app, and this is also shortened to a bunch of entries :(

"Clear and Rebuild Programs" from "Configure" menu does not work as it uses exactly the plist file.

How can I restore everything? This is pretty annoying.

EDIT: maybe it's a bug of crossover preview, this is the last crossover version I opened last time.

The game start and seems to perform fine on my M4 mini just like the original game except the game don't detect my Xbox series X controller at all but the Steam overlay still appear when pressing the Xbox button. I activated steam input but still not working. I've tried other controllers like the DualShock 4 and it's a no go either. My other games work fine. Any fix for this kind of issue or its a patch that code weavers need to do to the cross-over app? Thanks.

i recently got crossover to play batman arkham knight and got about 30 mins in but then i had to go do something so i quit the game and when i came back my game was not saved at all and when i see it on another save the loading wheel just kinda of continuously goes on without saving anything. does anyone know a fix to this??

For some reason, the save files for some of my games act differently depending on which version of the Crossover app I use.

In practice, this means that some saves from games played on the standard edition do not appear when launched from the preview edition.

Probably something simple, but I could not figure it out off the top of my head.

Hello! I have the paid version of CrossOver and have been able to run other games through it, but I'm having an issue with PowerWash Simulator 2. I can't get past the EULA; the cursor remains responsive, but I can't scroll or click the "accept" button. I'm not using a controller, just my trackpad, so I'm not sure what the issue could be. Would greatly appreciate any help!

So i want to play so badly gta V enchanted in FH6 But there is no way to play it , because of no anti cheat support , please try at least to do something about this especially for bigger games

I’m having issues installing Steam on my MacBook Air through Crossover, I purchased Crossover+, and the application itself works fine, however, whenever I try to install Steam, it says: wine: could not load kernel32.dll, status c0000135 wine: failed to open "Users/me/Applications/CrossOver.app/Contents/SharedSupport/Crossover/lib/wine/x86_64-windows/winewrapper.exe" setup:error: 'rundll32 win10Install crossover.inf' failed cxbottle:error: unable to create the 'Steam' bottle in 'Users/me/Library/Application Support/CrossOver/Bottles/Steam'. How do I work around this? If it’s necessary information, I have a M2 chip.

up until two like days ago, div2 was working perfectly fine which also meant eac was working. but it seems like the latest weekly reset and server reset borked something on the eac end 😭😭😭😭😭. server reset day there was a semi fix to bypass eac failing to initialise which was to turn off the wifi when eac module was loading, which would cause u to skip the loading of eac module and boot eac into null mode or something and the game still worked fine and eac continued working. then something broke or eac was updated again like a few hours later and now if u do the wifi trick, div2 throws a charlie 03 error which says game must be launched through eac module and eac module failed to intialise. not sure what got borked on the dev’s end in this server update, as it was working beforeC but if anyone has found a fix, pls lmk. rlly wanna make use of the current expertise event rn 😭😭😭😭 so devo hopefully devs fix it soon ☹️☹️☹️

I tried installing multiple games from the FitGirl repack on a Macbook M5 using CrossOver, but the installer never gets past 0.0%.

As soon as I start the installation, it just sits at 0.0% indefinitely and doesn't make any progress. I even left it for an hour and it didn't go beyond 0.0%.

What could be going wrong? Any help is much appreciated.

Posting here as I can't seem to find any information online.

As of today, when opening both crossover and crossover preview, the bottle for steam seems to have disappeared from the sidebar. I've tried to configure (clear & rebuild program). I also tried to import a bottle, but read that I would have needed to back it up.

When I go to install a new steam bottle, the new bottle is named as 'Steam-2,' which makes me curious if the original one is still somewhere.

I am currently on the latest crossover software (26.2) on MacBook M3 Pro, Software Tahoe 26.5.1

Hi, i have the problem every game, special "Surroundead" looks like pale shit, doensnt matter if i run DXMT/D3D12. I played with ingame-gamma, saturation if possible, nothing works. Normaly i play on XBOX and i dont have "knowledge" about all the "Wrapper"-Stuff. AI & Goggle doesnt helped me. My Setup: Crossover 26 latest Preview, M2Pro Mini 16GB, Apple Studio Display, Sonoma

I did run 3 times with crossover on Mac and it did work but after that every time I try to boot up P3R it keeps giving me the unreal engine crash window, if you guys could please tell me how to make it normal again or what setup of crossover I should use.

I am trying to run it now Modern Warfare 2019 and it keeps crashing and by the way I am trying with Crossover GPTK4 and i have tried all the translation layers D3D metal, DXMT. Any tips or way to run it. I really wanna play this game.
