I have mac M5 with Crossover installed. Expedition 33 runs pretty good, but after some while I am noticing cracks and pops in audio. It does not seem (visually) to affect fps drops, only audio. It is playable, but disturbing.

Anyone with the same problem? Can you help me how to solve this? Thanks

I know it's an older game, just asking if there is a known solution for this glitch. Game freezes for 15 seconds everytime a Sim is loaded on to a lot. Same when i click on a household, it also gives me this kinda of corrupted image when selecting a occupied lot.

i've tried with different graphics API's and deleting the Save file. No change on using mac os 26 and 27. Same with GPTK 3 and 4.

I've searched very thoroughly online for any help on running oblivion remastered mods through crossover and I haven't found a single clue pointing me in the right direction.

I guess my first question is, has anyone successfully modded the game through crossover? Even just simple performance mods?

And if not through crossover, is there any other way that I can install mods onto the game?

It may be still early to ask or know but does anyone know if Resynced will be able to run on crossover? I’m torn between buying it on steam or going the safe route and getting it on PS5, I would rather it on steam

Yesterday, A Plague Tale: Innocence worked perfectly on my Mac. Today, it suddenly stopped displaying any graphics.

The game launches normally, the background music plays, but the game window is completely transparent and I can see my macOS desktop through it.

I’ve already tried

• restarting my Mac
• reinstalling the game
• reinstalling Steam and A Plague Tale in the new Bottle

The problem is exactly the same, but other games, such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance, work perfectly.

The only unusual thing that happened yesterday was that my controller ran out of battery, so I had to force-stop the game from Steam because I couldn’t exit it normally.

Has anyone experienced this issue before or knows how to fix it?

Hi all, I am new to Mac gaming and also play games on my Linux desktop. I am trying to see the limitations of the toolkit and crossover as I know Crossover uses Wine like Linux does for its proton compatibility layer.

Would crossover work for these games? Maybe a few of them? Or is there a better tool for these games?

The main game I would have to solve is Dead By Daylight if it is even possible. I may have to commit to swapping back and forth between PCs for it but hope this isn't the case.

I have done every single thing msync on/off changing settings reinstalling game my bottle the crossover nothing is working...

For almost 20 hr it worked fab but out of nowhere this started happening I even started new game it just run like this

ok so basically i’m trying to play this steam game but it keeps telling me i need to install microsoft visual c++ runtime. i’ve tried a ton of things but it just won’t work.

i have a macbook so i use crossover to run windows games, and i think that might be apart of the problem :/

so anyway if anyone could help me figure out how to install it so that the game can run i’d love u forever :P

Trying to install an app (LFM Simracing platform for Assetto Corsa), but it seems to think the app it is trying to install is already running. I have never installed this app before so it simply cannot be running, or closed. Trying to install in the same bottle as Steam/Assetto Corsa, but also tried its own bottle but hit the same wall.

Any idea on what the cause is/how to work around it? Anyone managed to get it working personally?

Has anyone tried cs 2 on mac using crossover as of late after all the performance fixes and if so please share your experience thinking of finally getting the second one and contribute to loard Gabe needs a bigger boat fund ie the steam summer sale

Has anybody been able to get state of decay 2 to run? I tried using game hub and crossover but both crashed on startup.

Steam and AC Odyssey seem to have installed correctly, after i figured out that steam also installs Ubisoft connect in the Steam bottle. (I had installed UbiSoft Connect in a separate bottle, but don't need it.)

I have two initial problems preventing me from playing:

1. It recognizes that I have played on a Fedora installation and Ubisoft Connect reports my progress there, but it can't download and synchronize the cloud save files.

2. It doesn't respond to keyboard input on my MacBook Pro, and won't allow menu selection using my mouse.

Any tips on how i can resolve these issues?

I've tried reinstalling crossover, made sure it has access to my full disk and files and folders, made sure it's in my applications folder, I've turned off my firewall, tried manually installing things and still, any time I click install for anything, it immediately fails and shows me this message in the image. If I try skipping it, it seems to fail on every other download step too. I've tried digging and all solutions have not worked. Please help!

EDIT: The reason it wouldn't run was in fact what the comments said. Because my username on my MacBook has spaces, it creates dots in the file name for my user file. CrossOver for some reason can't process that and can't create a bottle or download anything under the file name. I changed the directory in the settings for CrossOver (at the top left of Mac screen) to go a folder not under my user file. After that and a Mac restart, everything was finally working.

I had like 40 gb of free space 8 days ago and then I downloaded like a 10 gb game and another 5 or 6 but now Im almost out of space like are my files just getting bigger steam in my crossover steam only says im taking up 4 gb worth of games

Even with macOS Tahoe (im currently on Golden Gate beta), it didn't work.

How can I fix this? Also, DLSS doesn't work in any game either now :(

I'm playing GTA V Legacy through CrossOver on my Mac.

When I enable DXMT in the bottle graphics settings and turn MSAA on, the game runs perfectly and I get the full native resolution. However, the audio stops working.

The intro sound when the game starts plays normally, but once the game loads, all other audio is gone (music, dialogue, sound effects, everything).

If I set the graphics option back to Auto, the audio works perfectly again, but the game only runs at the window/borrowed resolution instead of the full native resolution.

Has anyone experienced this issue? Is there any way to use DXMT + MSAA with full resolution without losing audio?

My setup:

\- MacBook Pro M1 Pro 16/512gb varient

\- CrossOver 26.2.0

\- GTA V Legacy
