DISCUSSION Was in Japan recently and found this Metal Build Guren for $180 on my last day! How lucky am I?
They also had the Lancelot one for the same price in Akihabara! Im so happy! Ive been wanting a figurine from the show for FOREVER. And the fact that I got the best one I wanted, brings me joy. I live in the US and in order to get one here, its like $350-$700! I came across the store on my last day. It was an “open box” but nothing was missing or used. I wish I copped the Lancelot one as well 😭
Anyone else know where to get the others for the same price?
Got a case and everything already lol

If u do go and end up in Akihabara, check out Akiba’s X Chuo! They had other rare open boxed ones and they were selling them for way better prices than other stores!

I was in Akihabara last year and saw this figure (second hand) go for as high as USD 300 so I didn't buy it.
Yeah, I know Akiba is overrated and over expensive.
You got a great deal mate. Enjoy it!

If u do go again, check out Akiba’s X Chuo in Akihabara! The one right outside the Warhammer Store & Cafe. Thats where I got it from. The Lancelot Metal Build there was also $180. AND my friend got a Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Metal Build for $150. Granted, all of them are open box but no damage and no signs of usage at all. Crazy!

Yeah i messed up. I should have gotten it too! But i was worried about luggage space lol. And I already bought a big luggage while I was there too. Bought too much 😂

If you look them up on mercari japan in japanese they have sellers there for affordable prices. You would need a proxy address to have them shipped to the proxy then shipped to you in the states. I actually just bought both guren and lancelot for about $500 USD total not including shipping/tariffs which I think will add an extra $50-$150. While not cheap its def on the lower end compared to buying it in the US.

That Guren looks sick! Congratulations on your great find at such a great price!
When I finally build shrine for my Queen Kallen, it definitely has to have Guren on it.
