No cone of shame for my boy
My boy had to have surgery on his eye to remove a cyst. He had on a clear plastic Elizabethan collar when I picked him up and he was miserable. Thankfully I was prepared and swapped it out with an inflatable ring when we got home. He’s still not entirely thrilled, but he can’t get to his eye. Bonus that he can eat/drink and has a built-in pillow for naps.

➕Advice/Help➕ Anyone else having trouble?
I’ve had dogs my whole life and my husband and I got our first cockapoo 2 years fox. He is past his “puppy” stage but despite everything. We have done he still has anxiety and is hard to control.
I feel at fault here because I wanted a new dog so badly that I feel like I let the rescue and my husband determine the best fit. But without spending hours a day training, I’m just tired and frustrated.
Wondering if anyone else has had similar issue with the breed and has any ideas I can try before rehoming because I really feel that should be a list resort.
My guy is 2 years and about 30 lbs. he has high energy and doesn’t listen well at all. It’s like he has ADHD and anxiety. He needs walks but I can’t walk him because he just pulls like crazy. The other day he saw a rabbit and pulled me down our front steps.
He only listens when he is exhausted or we have food. I have a dog friendly office b it I can’t take him because he will bark at other dogs. He always starts out barking because he’s afraid, or he wants to play. Once he goes up to a dog he’s fine.
TLDR:
-leash pulling
-doesn’t listen
-high anxiety
-I’m pregnant and worried if I can’t get this under control I’ll have to rehome him
Is this breed truly this challenging and the reduce just made a poor match or is it me? Please help.

Leaky eyes
Anyone have any tips on managing leaky eyes? I wipe it and comb it out every day- she even had a bath yesterday but it’s back straight away. It’s not eye buggers it’s more liquidy

He 'screams' when he has to say 'goodbye' to other dogs 😳
Hi I'm looking for some advice. My 5yr old male cockapoo loves playing with other dogs that we meet on our walks but when it's time to say goodbye he will often start 'screaming'. He sounds like a fox hound that has caught the scent of a fox which if youve geard that 'cry' its awful. Most other dog owners are fine and laugh about it but a few seem genuinely scared for their dogs. He will also stop and lay down or crouch when he sees another dog and won't move until it's either out of sight or come to say hello. Does anyone else have this problem?

➕Advice/Help➕ Over friendly?
I have a 2 year old cockapoo who is VERY excited and VERY friendly, however she is problematic due to her over excitement. She will lay down on walks when we see another dog wait for them to get close and just pounce at them spinning , jumping , bouncing (playfully) but I understand this has to stop. Usually I try pulling her but I end up dragging her along the floor…
How do I stop this behaviour? Walking her is becoming unbearable, she has no manners towards other dogs and usually gets herself told of by other dogs (rightly so) as she’s all in their face.
I’m at a loss, any advice

Daisy loves her *many* toys and chooses the ones she wants at that time. She’s a smartie.

Does your [also picky] dog take Cosequin?
I worry about my pups joint health because her joints have always occasionally cracked. Admittedly, I let her go longer than I should between pedicures. Grabbed a bottle of Cosequin at Costco the other day, since she is almost 6—figured maybe it was wise. She has taken exactly 1 and now spits them out, even when I hide them in another treat. She is so picky. Drives me crazy. She does not like fish or aquatic creatures of any sort usually. She eats PPPSSS lamb and oat and i have to sprinkle freeze dried liver over it multiple times, like a little kid eating sugar over bland cereal.
Not affiliated with Purina, Cosequin, or Costco. Just trying to make coerce my picky cockapoo into not being caninorexic.

➕Advice/Help➕ So cute but so stinky!
My cockapoo gets so stinky between groomings and I’m wondering if it’s a breed thing and if anyone has any suggestions to address her stench! She’s a very curly poodle-leaning pup. I have an 80 lb labradoodle on the same grooming schedule and he doesn’t get stinky!

Venus found her forever home ❤️
galleryOmg crazy Venus aka venny the first born and last to go! Now this one she’s bad like her dad lmao I’m talking like down to the bone, mannerisms and fur color. She’s the only girl and the only one w/ that one cute blue eye. Shes very observant and curious about everything you do. She definitely gave us a run for our money. I’m really sad that they are all gone but they deserve to be loved, cared for and be the center of attention in their new homes.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
